Malem's POV

We just landed and my first plane experience was anything but exciting, I peed my pants ,I almost threw up, but praise be to Heavens I survived, I am a survivor, I fought and came out alive . Okay maybe I am exaggerating my experience but believe me when I say it was scary. But it eventually became interesting, we received VIP treatment and I learned it was because we were flying FIRST FUCKING CLASS,forgive my cursing but this man must be rich for us to be given such special treatment.

I was treated like a queen and of course I explored my taste buds as I drank and tasted different wines and much to my Mother's displease , but I didn't care I didn't know when next I'd be getting this experience and I was going to live now, soon I knocked out and woke up when we had landed, we got out and we had someone waiting for us out front.

He loaded our clothes into the back of his luxurious looking car and we drove off in the luxurious car, yes I cannot emphasize enough how luxurious the car was, the windows were tinted and inside the car was neat , it also scented expensive and the seats were leather , and comfortable.

Soon we got to the house were we would be working, yes I said we, over time I learnt little things I saw my mum do and whenever it was private like this I usually helped out although she did not like it, I knew she needed my assistance. And wait wait wait, did I say house, this was far from being a house it was a Mansion, it was very huge and beautiful, they were about 3 or more little buildings around, It was really huge and I could not wait to explore every corner of it. My mouth was left ajar staring round and admiring my surrounding, From the front of the house the gate was pretty far from it, but the was a detailed trail of properly treated grasses on either side leading to the house and tall trees on each side, before getting to house, there was a bungalow on the rear left , which had cars packed in front of and I also noticed some men in suit around it, some where not in suit tho, but I assumed it was where the security guards stayed , there was another building beside the house but it was open and it had swings surrounding it, which I will also assume is for thw little boy my mum will be caring for. My observation was interrupted by my mom.

" Are you coming in or will you keep standing there" she said in an annoyed tone, I nodded at her and started walking towards her. I turned and noticed our luggage was already inside and I did not notice.

" And close your mouth will you, you don't want a fly finding its way in there now" she continued as she turned walking into the house. And I followed behind her quickly.

We stepped into the house and I was blown away the house looked so expensive everything was well detailed, I did not have time to properly admire the house as a man came walking down the stairs and all attention went to him of course I assumed he is the owner of the place, with the reaction to his presence.

He came straight to my Mum as he smiled cheekily, it almost seemed fake.

" Ahh Mrs Martin welcome, how was your Journey here " he said as he took my mother's hands in his shaking her

" it was very comfortable, thank you Sir" my mum answered politely

" Good Evening Sir " I said shyly behind my mum as he has refused to recognize my presence and I couldn't wait any longer to be noticed.

"You must be Ermah, how are you my dear" he said smiling at me creepily and patting my shoulder weirdly, he truly had no experience with children , I almost shoot my head, but fought to resist it.

" I'm fine Thank you Sir, " I said in the most polite manner and I turned to look at my mum who smiled at me in approval.

" I will show you to your rooms, you will be staying in the house not as previously planned, the workers quarters may be too far and who knows what time and when my Son might need you. There is a guest room downstairs, I thought you'd stay in the same room as your daughter but seeing she is all grown up, I'll have a room prepared for her upstairs immediately" he said after observing me for a bit, I already liked this man, staying in this huge house will be a pleasure for my sight seeing I'm already itching. I shivered excitedly. He called out a maids name I can no longer remember who carried my mum's luggage to her room and later disappeared up with my luggage up, he later showed us the major places we will be entering and went up giving us time to refresh and dress as dinner was being prepared . My mum pulled me to her new room and I inwardly groaned because I knew that look on her face too well , it was time for her series of advice.

" Malem, listen to me carefully for a word my dear is enough for the wise" she said seriously as she pulled at her ear slightly in demonstration.

" Yes ma" I answered respectfully.

" This is a new job and it means everything to us, you see this people I do not want to see you around them, stay in your room and study that is the only business you should have here, most importantly I know you, do not snoop around, do not go anywhere that is not my room, your room , the kitchen or outside, any other room is not your business and you see how large this place is, I don't want you to get missing in it," she stopped talking then I looked up to face her, then she continued

" I hope I have made myself clear" she finally concluded

" Yes mum, I will not snoop around, and I will mind my business but mummy there is no school so why should I study" as soon as my latter words came out I regret it, I knew she will keep an extra eye out and make sure I comply.
