There is an explosion as a guy lobs a Lvl.3 bleeding grenade into the mouth of a Giant blue metallic snake, while dodging it's TRIPLE BARRAGE ATTACK and the man standing on top of him is thrown off, as for the snake, it's head doesn't seem to receive much damage at once, but a close look shows a ghastly wound beneath its jaws.

You rarely get so cautious over petty things".

Sigh....."OK, I may be thinking too much, still I want to check the consumables we have(which he himself did not believe to sound convincing)”, Max said.

Max had still not got used to the details of the stats, as it always contained weird infos like this alongwith some handy ones, though this is the first time to see this weird ability (although of no use), getting serious, the ??? On this bondage ability disturbs him and also the fact that the snake seemed to be lying dormant and the man was chanting a long spell without worrying about getting attacked as if...

ARCANE SHIELD, Quick!. Just as Lucifer was going to kill the evil man, Max shouted.

"NOT SO FAST" said Max as yellow stream of energy gathering at his hands were suddenly released, “ENERGY BLAST VOLLEY" Max shouted as he threw balls of energy from his hands which hit both the man and the Snake, with the maximum being concentrated on the snake as it's attempt to use poison spray after the failure of its Triple barrage attack was interrupted by the volley of energy balls being concentrated upon it, thus giving Lucifer enough time to drink an HP POTION as his health was near the danger level, as for the man, he was gone as soon as he got hit by a couple of energy balls.
