Matteo is the new leader of the Italian mafia in New York at the age of thirty. His parents were killed in a plane crash when he was only eighteen, making him the sole heir to the throne. Matteo had to take care of his younger sister with the help of his father’s best friend that soon became like a father to him. Matteo was trained since a young age in weapons and martial arts, and he has an endurance for fighting that is envied by a lot of people. Matteo is extremely successful, hard-working and he takes no shit from anyone. Most feared him, and whenever someone crosses his path, they don’t live to tell the tale. He leads the mafia with confidence and perseverance. Matteo is obnoxious, dangerous, determined and extremely sarcastic. 

He lives for his family and friends. He might be a criminal, but in their eyes, he is the most caring and reliable person they have ever met. Matteo takes care of his younger sister as if she was the most precious thing in the world. He has never fallen in love because he thinks that he can live without love. He is always surrounded by beautiful women and makes all the men want to be him and the woman to be with him. He is extremely polite and respectful towards women, even being a playboy searching for sex and fun every night. 

Avery Miller

Avery is a college student, and she is studying to be a psychologist. She has just ended a relationship with her boyfriend after he cheated on her. She is very attached to her family and friends. Her parents play a big role in her life, and she keeps searching for their approval even though she is the golden child. Avery is a single child from a couple that had to adopt because they couldn’t conceive. Avery became the centre of their life, and she couldn’t do anything wrong in their eyes. Avery is twenty-five years old and getting her PhD. She works to pay for college, and she is very proud of herself. Avery has a curvy figure with round green eyes with long blond hair. She is confident and mouthy. She is sure of herself and doesn’t let anyone make a fool out of her, except her ex-boyfriend. She is completely in love with him and gives all of herself to him, including her virginity. He was her only boyfriend, and she was proud of not getting involved in bed in one night stands and random hookups. 

Avery’s best friend Eliana is like a sister to her. They’ve met in high school and have been attached to being hip ever since. They do everything together. They come from Dripping Springs, a small town in Texas, they are both very proud of it, but it has been their dream to live in New York since high school. 

Amber Rizzo

Amber is the younger child of the Rizzo couple, and she is the younger sister of Matteo Rizzo, the leader of the Italian mafia in New York.

Amber is spoiled and irreverent, changing her hair colour every chance she gets. She is always getting herself into trouble to get her brother’s and his best friend attention. Amber has had a crush on Leo since they were kids, and she made her sole purpose in life to seduce him and make him hers. 

Amber is twenty-one and living the rich and the famous lifestyle, dropping out of college because it was too much hard work, and she didn’t care for it. She is spoiled and a brat, but no one is more important to her than her brother. She could kill anyone who tried to cross his way in a heartbeat, and she can be heartless if she wants to. It all comes down to her training. 

She is best friends with Robyn, Robyn comes from a small town in Texas and has to work hard to keep up with Amber’s lifestyle, but she doesn’t care because she is completely in love with her. All she wants is to stay by her side and keep her company, even if Amber has told her they can only just be friends because she doesn’t like girls. 

Eliana James

Eliana is Avery’s best friend and has a young sister that keeps getting into trouble, and she needs to bail her out. Eliana is extremely responsible and a good friend to Avery. She is wild and passionate. She works hard in a coffee shop and a restaurant to keep herself in college. Her parents never cared for her, and her sister abandoned them when they were kids in the system. Eliana and her sister were taken to a small town in Texas where they had an amazing foster family that cared for them until they passed away, leaving them with nothing but dept. Eliana paid for everything and is now trying to make a good life for herself and her sister in New York.

Eliana loves to party and ends up hooking up with different random guys all the time, but her dream is to meet a rich man that will take care of her allowing her to pursue her dream of being a designer and pay for her bills. She couldn’t be more different from her best friend, but I guess opposites attract, and their friendship is stronger than ever. 

Leonardo Marco

Leo is Matteo’s best friend and right hand. Whenever a decision needs to be made, and Matteo is not around, he is the one taking charge. He is extremely responsible and hardworking. He is funny and sarcastic. He is optimistic from both, he always sees the good side of everything, and he is a big guy. He is 6’5 and has a bodybuilder body. He is in charge of weapons in the mafia and sees Matteo as a brother, but she is his weak spot when it comes to amber. She doesn’t know how much he cares for her because he always keeps her away. Leo is reserved and has a massive crush on his best friend’s baby sister, which he knows is wrong, and he fights with himself to stay away. 

Leo is great with weapons and dealing with women, he was a sweet spot for them, and he would never be able to hurt a woman. He is extremely loyal and respectful, but when he is partying, he becomes an animal.
