CHAPTER ONE
"Monday!" I squealed jumping out of bed, I checked myself in the mirror.    "Do I look a bit fat today or....?" I muttered to myself and widened my big cute eyes with a smile on my pink small lips, admiring my smooth chocolate skin and long legs. I am quite tall but just the exact perfect height for a lady.     I walked to my blue wardrobe and pulled down my black towel from the door. Then I walked out of my room, heading to the bathroom. I could smell the strong offensive stench from burnt eggs, I made my way to the kitchen first but I discovered that Rita must have burnt the eggs again and cleared the kitchen in a haste.    "Rita!!!" I screamed her name and went to her room to check if she was still in bed again. Turning the door knob and peeping in, the room was very silent and Rita wasn't there either, I looked around the room and saw clothes on the floor and a rough bed spread.

CHAPTER TWO
It was the guy I saw outside being rude to a lady and I had eyed him terribly.    I bit my lower lip. I knew I was unlucky but I never knew that my village people were eagerly following me.    This was the right time to either play dumb or just beg for forgiveness.    He looked at me then suddenly narrowed his eyes.    "Gosh! He remembers me" I thought to myself then I decided to smile widely at him.    He knitted his eyebrows.    "I'm Hannah, the new secretary"    He kept on staring at me with a frown and "back to sender" look. I ignored his annoying facial expression and kept smiling warmly.    I began to wonder if this guy was even my boss or just some random employee roaming about. I was about to ask him why he was standing like a zombie until he walked past me and went to sit at

CHAPTER THREE
"Eric Benjamin!!" I screamed and dropped the cup of coffee on the floor. It broke into pieces and scattered everywhere.   He stood up while I bent down to pick up the pieces of glasses with my hands. I ended up hurting myself in the process.   "I'm very sorry for this..." I kept saying.   "No...no, just leave it and call the cleaning service agent"   I stood up and walked out of the office, I was lucky to find one immediately and told him to come clean the place. He entered and after sweeping the glasses and cleaning the spilled coffee, he left.   Eric was standing in the middle of the office when I entered.   "Can you explain this?" He asked sternly.   "I'm very sorry, I was distracted for a while" I dare not look at his face, I was scared of this man and I didn't want to lose my job.  &n

CHAPTER FOUR
I walked to my desk slowly and sat. He was on his computer so I went to Google and searched.   How to be a perfect secretary to a problematic boss.   Lots of tips were shown and I saved it. I took my phone and put password in all my apps, my messages, contacts, gmail app, whatsapp and even video player. Then I changed my screen lock password. I did justice to my computer too, and made sure to secure everything with two different passwords.   I stood up and went to the door, pushed in some buttons and discovered I could change it with my company ID and current password. I went back to boss desk.   "Umm..."   He looked at me   "...I don't have a company ID yet and I also don't know the previous password so I can't change the door password"   "Someone is coming with your ID in about an hour. The previous pa

CHAPTER FIVE
Right now, I wanted to know who Eric Benjamin really is. Everyone at the company seems to be scared of him and he also does not trust anyone either.   I got home and Rita was not back yet. I went into my room, removed my clothes and took a quick bath. I was still in the shower when someone entered.    After bathing, I went to my room and wore my night gown. I looked at myself in the mirror, admiring my body as I thought of the body cream to buy for my skin. My phone rang and I checked the ID caller, it was my Mum. I answered it.    "Good evening Mum"    "Hannah, how was work?"    "It was fine. It went well"    "I'm so happy for you oh, in this country where it's hard for graduates to see a job. You've gotten one in a big popular company too"    "I'm grateful to God"    "Is everything okay over t

Henry left some hours later after eating the dinner I had prepared. Rita and I were in the living room. I was ironing my shirt which I will wear tomorrow while Rita was painting her toe nails.  "Ehen..." Rita cleared her throat to get my attention "...so your boss is rude to you?"  I looked at her and kept the iron on the floor "Rude? I can't say he's rude yet. I just resumed there, I have to at least work for sometime to know his attitude"  "Um, do you know Eric Benjamin? I haven't seen him in real life but he's dead handsome"  I rolled my eyes "I was not concentrating on his looks. In fact, we started off on a wrong foot"  "How do you mean?"  "You know the way I hate guys right now, especially the ones that do not respect women"  "Hannah..." She looked at me with pity "...you shouldn't hate all the guys out there just because you had two b
