The Devil Who Owns Me

I saw the familiar door so I knew I was on the right place. I should have done this before but pride held me back and now it got me nowhere to go but down to this place. I was asking myself if there were no other choices aside from this and it answered me nothing.

I took a deep breath before opening the door to where it felt like my life is going to end. The mask of confidence and coldness my father molded for me over the years took over as I walk in.

His back was facing me as he looked out of the glass window of his office. I knew he knew I was there. The air around the room became heavy when he turned around to face me. He's intimidating as always but I had to keep up with him if I want to succeed. I couldn't let his presence dominate me though I always find it hard to breathe when he's near.

"To what do I owe this very surprising visit, love?", he asked, spreading the unpleasant thrill all over my body. The word love made it more suffocating but I found it pleasant for my hearing yet it was dangerous.

"I think you know the answer to that", I stood my ground for I did not trust myself to go any near to that man. I saw the amusement on his pale blue eyes though his face was plain serious. He took slow steps towards my direction and I felt something stir on my stomach. He eyed me like a hawk eyeing his prey.

"Is that right?", he almost whispered and dazed came over to my senses as I felt his minty breath fanning my face.

"So?", his voice was husky and sexy and seductive. My heart beats faster and faster as seconds gone by. I felt breathless but I couldn't stop myself from inhaling his scent. It was so enticing and hypnotizing.

"Come on, love. I want to hear you say it", his finger traced the outline of my face down to my neck which brought another level of ecstasy that I should not want. It was dangerous. Yet, it was so irresistible.

"Say it", those sinful lips almost touched mine. I had to pinch my leg to keep my remaining senses working. I wanted to taste those lips. I want to feel those muscles wrapped around my body sharing the heat with him. And I want to make a mess with that unruly hair. I want...

My train of unwanted thoughts was interrupted by the feel of his hand on my throat.

"Tell me you are mine, Trish ", he demanded. Beyond the sensation I felt, I had the urge to kill him. The devil I always hated. He's playing his games on me. He's manipulating me but I can't do anything. He had me on his palm.

"Say it", another demand. I reluctantly nodded looking away from him.

"Say. It.", his tone became louder and cold.

"I-I'm yours", I whispered; almost choke on my own words.

The scary smile he was known for appeared across his face. The triumphant glint spread on his eyes.

"YOU. ARE. MINE. ALONE", those were the last words I heard before he crashed his lips onto mine.

The devil won.

He now owns me.
