The best place to get Korean manhwa raws would be Naver Webtoon since most of the Korean manhwa are published on that website in the original language. Other good sources of raw manhwa would be KakaoPage and Lezhin which are platforms where publishers put up their manhwa in raw form. RAW DESIRES:{50 Stories of Passion} is another book that is completely different from the above mentioned manhwa. This book is not polished and has raw storytelling. It contains many intense and character- driven moments in various scenarios. The book RAW DESIRES very much captures the raw emotions of the characters rather than the raw language itself.

For those looking for the best places to read manhwa in raw, I can recommend checking out Naver Webtoon for some of the best titles currently available (mostly in Korean, but with translations it’s even more enjoyable). Reading manhwa can be quite of an experience for me, especially when it comes to finding the raws. Manhwa Raw is probably my favorite place to go to read manhwa, since there is so much content available and it is pretty organized. So far I have mostly just been reading the raws of the manhwa that I already know have been translated. It’s really cool to see how the story and art look in their pure form, and to see all of the things that were left out of the translation. The community for Manhwa Raw is also very helpful and friendly, listing out the latest updates and recommending other manhwa to read. Sometimes there are even fans who translate panels from certain chapters, and post them up for everyone else to read. It’s a great place for manhwa fans.
Bilibili Comics is another popular site, mainly containing Chinese webtoons and manhwa. The majority of them are in Chinese, so you can read them in their raw form. Also, users are able to join in on discussions for the current series. For raws for Korean comics, I use Naver Webtoon (you need a VPN to access this if you are outside of South Korea). Scans are released officially on the portal and therefore of highest quality. The site can be a little tricky to use if you don’t read Korean, but you can use an image translator to get around. For less popular titles, KakaoPage has some great ones available (more difficult to pay for if you are outside of SK though) but the payment system for SK sites is often a hassle for international users. Lezhin’s Korean site is good for more adult oriented comics which may be heavily edited in translated versions – my main problem is that most of these sites are locked to a region and payment methods are often a pain to set up outside of SK.

I sort of miss Batoto, in its brief window of legitimacy as a sort of community-driven platform or something. But the raw manhwa scene has never really been organized enough to deserve a "best" platform, and typically tends to default to some unorganized "Wild West" of disorganized dysfunction driven by advertising dollars, and treating users poorly. My view is, it's unlikely a more suitable platform will ever exist given the fundamental nature of the business model to be unstable and exploitative, with quality never being a particular concern.

Unorganized as it is, this is how I do things. My bookmark page has over 15 different manhwa sites all neatly organized in folders. When searching for a specific series I normally open 3-4 of the sites in different tabs and compare the following: image quality, ad size (with ad blocker enabled of course), and how user friendly the site is to read. It adds about a minute to finding a series but 9 times out of 10 I’ll find a better version of the manhwa than what I would have found by clicking the first result in a Google search. I do this because it is basically digital window shopping for the best way to read a series. The “best” site to read a series can change from series to series, and even within a series from chapter to chapter, depending on how up to date the best mirror is.

HakuNeko is also useful for downloading batches of manga and then converting them to PDF. As always, be careful to scan any downloaded content for malware. I tend to avoid any sites that look like they haven’t been updated since 2005 as they are likely to contain malware.
