I resigned myself to buying a Kobo ebook reader. It can natively read PDFs, and handles them way better than Kindle does, outside of its walled garden. For the Kindle app on your own device, I'm guessing a full uninstall and then re-install would reset all your app preferences, and flush out all the caches it has built up. First, make sure all your Kindle books are up to date and in sync with your Amazon account though. Then, log in as you do normally, let it sync your library, and try and Send a simple PDF to your own device via the 'Send-to-Kindle' email address. If it works with that simple file, then the problem must have lain with your previous app installation somehow. If it doesn't work with that though, then the problem lies with the file or your Amazon account settings, not with the new instance of the app on your own device.

A little snippet from late at night when I’m reading manga: Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan prevents the user from losing their vision like the normal Mangekyō would. This means that after transferring the Mangekyō from another user, the Eternal user can see perfectly and even perceive things greater than normal. This also means that using Mangekyō techniques won’t cause the user’s vision to deteriorate gradually. The ability of the two eyes also fuse or are upgraded.
As a dramatic upgrade to normal Mangekyō Sharingan, however, it’s not a panacea. Using ocular jutsu in this form will no doubt sap a fair amount of chakra, and also cause its user physical wear and tear. Also the transplantation process itself carries lots of story and moral implications. Keeping an eye out for when other characters in ‘Naruto’ scenes switch to Eternal Mangekyō will give you a good idea of how their fight tactics and endurance have changed for the better.

The musical changes were probably the biggest. When I first started watching Toonami as a kid, the openers were mostly hard-hitting rock songs. As the show and the openers grew up with me, the openings introduced me to lots of other genres that I wouldn’t have sought out on my own had they not been incorporated into the openings. A lot of the later openers combined really cool electronic tracks with rock, which was really amazing to me. The openings just seemed to keep getting better and more complex as I grew up and my own tastes in music evolved. And of course, they were always embedded in really great animated openings to the show, so it was like a free weekly music video.

Jynx has always been one of those Pokémon that feels elusive but isn’t necessarily 'rare' in the traditional sense. In 'Pokémon Go,' its availability depends heavily on events and biomes. I recall during winter events, Jynx would spawn like crazy, almost feeling common, especially in icy or urban areas. But outside those events? It’s way harder to find.
What’s interesting is how Niantic treats it—sometimes it’s a raid boss, other times it’s tucked behind research tasks. I’ve caught a few just by stumbling upon them in cities, but rural players might struggle. It’s not as rare as something like Axew, but it’s not a Pidgey either. If you’re hunting one, keep an eye on event announcements—that’s your best bet.

This mimics ‘Kekkei Genkai’ inheritance in a non-biological sense, as bloodline limits are typically passed down through DNA. Rather than giving someone with DNA capable of expressing his unique Mangekyo abilities a shot of his blood in order for them to come to full expression, Itachi has simply had his chakra carry the expression of his DNA and imprinted his genetic potential onto that of Sasuke. Only an Edo Tensei chakra copy of the original person would be able to replicate this perfectly. A living person’s chakra is too tied to their physical self to transfer in such a clean fashion.

The line remains as powerful as ever it was, and I find it tragic. It seems to take on a new relevance in every new geopolitical situation I read it in – a warning in days of increased surveillance; a description of current reality in days of increased misinformation. The line remains as powerful as ever it was in part because of Orwell’s skill at line writing, but also because the subject matter of that line keeps being accurately described by it again and again in the light of same human failures again and again – as uncomfortable as that bright cold light is to look into, it is a mirror that we keep having to look into.

I’ve been asked by more than a few people whether Naruto ever actually came into possession of Kurama’s full chakra. My answer to this is no. At first the chakra of Kurama was sealed inside of Naruto and was very hostile. As such, all that Naruto was able to use of the chakra were small portions of it, forcing himself into various transformations along the way. However, in ‘Naruto Shippuden’ and during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kurama willingly shared its chakra with the young ninja and Naruto was able to use the entirety of the beast’s power in what are referred to as cooperative modes. However, the chakra that Naruto used in such situations always remained under the control of Kurama, who remained his own independent will.
Later in the series the mode is activated in Boruto when Kurama sacrifices itself to consume the life of the beast and consequently dies. As a result Naruto loses the powerful chakra forever. In the long run Naruto was only able to use Kurama’s chakra in a limited sense before having full access to it cooperatively, and eventually losing it all. This transforms Naruto from a completely focused ninja to fighter as he attempts to come to terms with his loss.

Corruption is often the cause of failed opening for downloaded files. This can occur with corrupt archives that were downloaded from questionable websites, as well as with incomplete transfers. Using a repair tool for corrupted ZIP files can also allow you to attempt to recover .cbz files (since .cbz is actually just a ZIP archive). I’ve also found that sometimes the file is actually fine, but the cache for the reader gets screwed up. You can try clearing the cache and the app data for your current reader and see if that fixes the problem (just a heads up that you’ll lose your current reading progress). On PC, I highly recommend using CDisplay Ex, which is robust enough to almost never fail to open an archive that contains valid files. On Mac, you can try Simple Comic or YACReader. Half the time, the quickest fix is to switch to a different reader and test the file out.

Imagine a powerful dragon but instead of breathing fire it breathes silence so powerful that it can even cause bleeding in your ears. It is a masterpiece of cosmic horror, and instead of normal forces, it uses absence. Its scales are so powerful that when you touch one you can get pulled into another dimension. If you look into its eyes you can see your own death, and it is not just one death that you see, it is many deaths in different timelines, some of them fractured.
Its wings are rigid and tremble at a frequency that splits stone. Its bellowing doesn't travel through the air - it vibrates right inside your skull and splits your eardrums. Many of the Void Dragon's victims report that their own shadows have split off and are attacking them long before the beast itself moves.
The Void Dragon is notable for its blood consisting of a swarm of micro-black holes which immediately evaporate when coming into contact with anything. Weapons that strike the beast are instantly returned to a long-lost era, decades or even centuries past, having long since rusted. Magical attempts to read the beast’s mind amount to little more than flipping through channel after blank channel of static, the Dragon’s lack of interest in the sort of treasure that normal dragons dream of for being far outweighed by its interest in collecting moments in time. By removing individual events from the current of history the Void Dragon creates spaces which even memory cannot fill.

He’s kind of a weird deuteragonist in that Yiseong is the real protagonist but Sihyun has gotten the most recognition from fans and has such a unique and cool ability, and an amazing contrast to Yiseong’s kind-hearted nature in his driving force and actions, and their uneasy alliance and conflicting ideologies make for an amazing push-andpull throughout the story. It’s really hard to tell what Sihyun’s endgame is and whether his ruthless pragmatism is really needed in this world, but his character adds so much political and psychological depth to the entire story.
