In the anime 'Horimiya', Yosuke Hori (Yor) and Kyoko Hori (Loid) indeed share a few tender moments together, including some romantic kisses. It's one of the charming highlights of this series! Their relationship progression is convincingly realistic, conveying a sense of genuine connection, and the presentation of these moments is both tastefully done and heartwarming.

In 'Spy Family' where things now stand characterizations need to be explored much further. So far, Loid and Yor have never shared an intimate moment. For the time being as an undercover couple, they often share intimate scenes, but until now, they haven't done anything romantic.
But with such complex dynamics between them, who knows what future episodes might bring? If Loid and Yor are compared to their characters on 'Spy x Family': Both of them,

In "Spy X Family," Loid and Yor's relationship is no normal love story. They entered into their marriage as a pure mission Loid Lugging. "You knew from the day you married your ranks were going to be awful," Yor Ensign noted with a smile as she thanked him for helping her to put on her ballgown. But with time rolling past and children arriving in succession at their house, Loid came to feel that in this fiction of “family” he had started using a very real life symbol Y

Definitely, 'Yuru Camp' is a gem. The anime series adds an extra cozy vibe with the fluffy and warm storyline. It's literally the comfort food of anime for me. I'm in absolute love with the characters and the slow-paced, relaxing narrative is just what you need after a hard day to unwind and enjoy some peace. It depicts the joy and beauty of camping and also subtly encourages us to explore more of the outdoor wonders. If you are on the lookout for an anime with action and thrill, it might not be your cup of tea. But for those who appreciate slow-paced, realistic, and slice-of-life stories, it's a must-watch.

In "Spy x Family" I quite simply adore the spin the mangaka has put in on Loid 'Twilight' Forger's predictable discovery of Yor's secret life. The near scrapes and desperate moments have already appeared before us often enough, but we still have never seen Loid find out that Yor is a fearsome assassin. It's fascinating, watching these characters, who meet each other by day and by night, trying to manipulate one another into acting their way for them.
And the story is undoubtedly far from over with Loid, a spy par excellence, still oblivious to Yor's secret. The build-up is wonderful and when it comes, I am sure that revelation will be explosive.

In the manga 'Spy x Family', Yor finds out about Loid's real identity in a roundabout way. Initially, she's oblivious to Loid's double life as a spy. She's under the impression that he's a psychiatrist. However, as the plot thickens, there are situations pulling the veil off slowly, making her question things, but she never directly confronts him about it. The manga does a fabulous job keeping this suspense alive.

I’ve always loved how 'Spy x Family' fanfics reimagine Yor and Loid’s first kiss during high-stakes missions. Some writers lean into the irony—two spies faking romance while secretly panicking about their own feelings. One memorable fic had them undercover at a gala, forced to kiss to maintain their cover, only for Yor to accidentally bite Loid’s lip mid-combat reflex. The tension was delicious, especially with Anya telepathically cheering them on from the sidelines. Other stories play with misunderstandings, like Yor assuming the kiss is purely tactical while Loid battles unexpected jealousy when she’s too convincing. The best fics layer their professional precision with messy humanity—Yor’s killer instincts warring with flustered hesitation, or Loid’s calculated charm crumbling into genuine awkwardness. I adore AUs where the kiss sparks a silent agreement to 'practice' for future missions, blurring the line between duty and desire.
Another trend I’ve noticed is mission-gone-wrong scenarios. Picture a bomb countdown forcing them into a rushed kiss as distraction, only for the explosion to drown out their racing hearts. Some writers twist the trope by having them *avoid* kissing until the last second, stretching the suspense. A standout fic had Yor poison-drenched and Loid kissing her to absorb the antidote from his lips—a brilliant mix of clinical detachment and desperate care. The way fanfics weaponize their spy skills for intimacy (Loid memorizing her pulse patterns, Yor analyzing his breathing) makes their dynamic uniquely thrilling. For a fresh take, I recommend fics where Anya’s visions force them to confront the kiss’s emotional fallout mid-mission.

Oh, 'White Album' two you're talking about, isn't it? This love is definitely a complex triangle.Yes, Yor and Loid have indeed developed a relationship of love, but it is not a simple one. Indeed, this pair's every move is more characterized by the tension and misunderstandings inherent throughout series.
Personally, I think that makes their whole interaction just all the more complex and meaningful. What endeared me to them most about their love was its mature outlook on the conflicting feelings involved in any relationship.Emotional certainly: That mad riding the high stem overflowing energy crest and goes backwards.
