At a guess, he seems to die several times-but somehow he always comes back! A good example being in 'Avengers: Infinity War' where it looks like he gets killed at Thanos's hands, only to return for 'Avengers: Endgame, because of some timey-wimey stuff with alternate realities. In any case, as a fiction lover, I would say that no matter what happened to him 'Loki' is not gone for good.
