Where Can I Read 'I Carry The Enemy’S Child' Online?

Can’t find this angsty pregnancy drama anywhere after seeing TikTok edits. Need a reading app or fan translation site to follow the romance webnovel legally.

For ‘I Carry the Enemy’s Child’ I would check major serial platforms such as Webnovel or Goodnovel, as there are a lot of similar stories up there already. For now I’m having fun with ‘Carrying the Billionaire's Baby’. The story is about a female main character who has a one-night stand with a male lead. The male lead, who is also her business rival, sees her as just another pawn to be used in his corporate takeover battle. The female main character must then deal with the consequences of her actions while trying to keep her secret from being exposed.

I have a soft spot for reading stories with complicated human relationships within a historical or fantasy story. I’m reading “I Carry the Enemy’s Child” through Tappytoon’s official English release because it loads up really fast and has a ton of cultural notes to enhance reading the comic. I used to find this through websites like Mangakakalot but half the time the pages wouldn’t be in order or would be missing.

The official release is also wonderful because sometimes the author will put up bonus material, like this little side story about the male lead’s childhood and how that affected him growing up. I’m very on budget, so I usually wait for their coin sales to grab the stories I’m interested in. Even better is their community forums on the Tappytoon website where people discuss the various symbolism in each chapter.

Comico and Naver Webtoon’s global website is another option to read web comics! I think I read ‘I Carry the Enemy’s Child’ on that website a while ago. The website is very clean and easy to use and you can even change the language! Some chapters are for free but others cost microtransactions. Of course it’s way cheaper than buying printed copies of the volumes. And the comments section is also very valuable because every scene is analyzed by many readers and it’s really, really nice.

This one is a rollercoaster of emotions. I read ‘I Carry the Enemy’s Child’ on Bato.to for the majority of the parts. The translation was really good and it got updated on a regular basis. But there are times when I would want to read an alternate version of a certain part because of the way it was translated. Like in one part of the story, I didn’t see the twist coming and it made me gasp aloud. And then later on in the story, I found out the truth about the protagonist’s past.

Mangago hosts this title as well, which is ad-ridden and painful to peruse. I have also seen this title appear on Webcomics app, which is ad-free. I have received notification that people in the series’ Discord fan server post links to free versions of the series, and even crowdfund officially licensed translations of the series.

I came across ‘I Carry the Enemy’s Child’ in a forum post a while ago, it was pretty intriguing with a good mix of tension and character development. The story follows a rather simple yet strangely effective premise: someone carrying the child of their arch-nemesis. Initially, I found this manga on a few odd manga aggregator sites with spotty translation, but it is officially licensed on places like Tapas and Lezhin where the translations are spot on and the quality consistent.

It’s really good to support the creators of these amazing manga if we can. Yes, on official platforms like Tapas and Lezhin the art looks crisp and the translations are much better at capturing the finer points of the story. Most manga on official platforms let you read the first chapters for free too, so you can see if you like it before buying. Many platforms even offer subscription models, where for a daily pass you can unlock episodes. Be warned: this manga is extremely intense so be prepared to be up all night reading it.

Does 'I Carry the Enemy’s Child' have a happy ending?

I followed along with the fan translations of the updates as they came out, and then read through all the forum speculation on how it would all end up (tragedy? so sweet and saccharine?). And the author managed to hit the perfect note – acknowledging the darkness of the characters’ pasts, but choosing to go with a light, hopeful ending instead. Not what I was expecting, no, but it makes so much more sense for the characters than it would have otherwise. All the long, analyzed posts in the discussion threads after the final chapter about healing and forgiveness, etc. prove that it’s not a simple happy ending that would elicit that kind of response.
