Arkana Bimantara or usually called Mr. Arka is a substitute teacher at one of Bandung's well-known high schools. At his young age and supporting factors such as his handsome face, being the grandson of the school owner and his well-established life, he was able to make almost all the female students there fascinated by him. However, among all the female students, there was only one who could divert his attention, namely Nayena Lim or usually called Naya. Naya, a student with the help of a scholarship was able to captivate an arkana. Arkana will do everything she can to get close to her beloved student, even though sometimes she has to use methods that are not usually used by a teacher. He always used his power as a teacher to make a naya obey him.

Faryah Mustapha has always been mute due to an alleged accident that happened when she was six years old, she couldn't say words out loud. She lived her life observing, learning and enduring everything happening around her. When her Grandfather, Mustapha gets on his death bed, Faryah is obliged to fulfill his dying wish which unknown to her and everyone else is bound to change the course of her life for good.

Soon the people just stopped trying to leave. Binta was born on the island with no hope of ever escaping until she met Adam and fell in love. When she becomes royalty, she can leave the island but the liberation of the people of Rayuwa is paramount and she and Adam work closely together to liberate the people. (The point of view of the story changes. In each chapter, different affected characters will tell the story from their point of view. This is to enable the reader to have the full understanding of the story and also understand how the characters reason.)
