How Tall Is Kokushibo

Kokushibo, the Upper Moon One demon from 'Demon Slayer', was originally a human named Michikatsu Tsugikuni. As a human, he lived during the Sengoku era, which is approximately from the 15th to 17th centuries. After becoming a demon, he has lived for over 400 years. So technically speaking, he's around 400 years old.

Kokushibo from 'Demon Slayer' has a striking look. He wears a long, dark kimono with a pattern that resembles the night sky. The flowing sleeves and high collar give him an elegant yet sinister vibe. His most distinctive accessory is a light blue hakama over his kimono, adding to his imposing presence. The intricate details and dark colors really highlight his eerie character, making him unforgettable.

In the 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' series, no direct relation between Kokushibo and Tanjiro is mentioned. Nonetheless, they are connected through Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the legendary demon slayer. Yoriichi is the original user of the Breath of the Sun technique, which Tanjiro uses, and he's also Kokushibo's younger twin.

Kokushibo's six eyes are a striking aspect of his visual design, symbolizing his immense power and abilities in 'Demon Slayer.' Each pair of eyes enhances his perception, enabling him to see things others can't. These eyes reflect his former self, Michikatsu Tsugikuni, and his quest for strength, integrating his tragic past with his current form. The contrast of beauty and horror in his design captivates me. It's like a reminder of how far he has fallen. The imagery is simply unforgettable!

Yet the plot goes on, and it is here that we gradually become acquainted with the story of Kokushibo's real identity as an Upper Moon One member. It turns out he was once a samurai named Michikatsu Tsugikuni.Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the creator of the Breathing Styles, such as the recognizable Sun Breathing Technique, was his brother. All this will be fleshed in the future! (Wait for the exciting backstory.)Hence Yoriichi's descendants become the Kamado family--and young Tanjiro, in a way, is Kokushibo's great-great-grandnephew. This element introduces a new level of complication and depth that captivates the reader.
