I’ve probably spent hundreds of hours playing Train Sim World. A long-requested feature by the multiplayer community is co-operative play, allowing a second player to join the first as co-driver or even take control of signals for the driving player. The game’s developers have occasionally thrown in references to upcoming multiplayer gameplay in updates, but nothing of substance has yet been delivered.

The solo gameplay is incredibly immersive and once you get to the point of the game where you're driving a train, it becomes a very rhythmic experience of accelerating, braking and managing your timetable. It's really a game that gets you thinking in a real world train scheduling kind of way. Challenges where you are working with someone else to deliver freight on a shared network would be great for multiplayer too.

A lot of people might perceive ‘Train Sim World’ as a very niche game. As a casual sim player, I was a little wary of it when it was released last year, but it’s really, really good. For now, however, multiplayer is not available. I would love to voice-chat with friends while together operating trains on routes like the Swiss Alps. Maybe they could even try to complete a route better than me.

A lot of detail has gone into creating the game and this really makes for a great solo experience. Watching the landscape go by whilst monitoring your speed and completing tasks is very relaxing and in many ways is even better than multiplayer could be. The only way to get more interaction is from the community who post screenshots and times for completing routes.

The lack of multiplayer for Train Sim World hasn’t stopped my train simbing for the weekend, I treat it more like a digital model railway and try to learn each route in order to complete each successfully. It makes sense that there is no multiplayer as the game requires a lot of precision and if you switch a track incorrectly then the rest of your timetable goes out the window. A mode where you could take turns driving half of a long route would be amazing, until then I can just compare how we’re progressing on the in-game leaderboards.

Does PS+ Essential include online multiplayer access?

3 Answers2026-06-26
As it happens, the online multiplayer feature is included in the PS+ Essential package. Yes, I use this feature all the time – whether it be grinding away in Apex Legends or co-oping through all of the levels in Elden Ring. The selection of free games isn’t always consistent, but it’s nice to have them there anyway. All in all, this is the cheapest way to enjoy online multiplayer.

What cooperative modes exist in brothers in arms: hell's highway?

10 Answers2025-08-26
It would have been great to have a competitive versus mode for this content, as it would be an absolute blast to play this as a single player controlling US squads, against another player controlling German fireteams in the same maps. But as a co-op only piece of content, it does what it sets out to do very well within the confines of the narrow scope it operates within. It doesn’t overpromise anything and delivers exactly what it said it would – a series of missions and tools to play them with. I had a great time playing through this with my friend, playing as co-op squad leaders in Hell’s Highway for a couple of weekends.

What happens in the ending of Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs Vol. 6?

I agree with you though that the biggest element of this ending is far and above the criticisms of the plot, and that is the line Angie says to Leon in this scene: “You can complain all you want, but you’re stuck with us now.” He’s stuck with the title, the work, and the people. And, despite his typical grumbling, I don’t think he’d trade it for the world. It’s a beautiful scene of acceptance, classically delivered in tsundere fashion.

This thread is like watching an entire fandom unfold before our very eyes. People are sharing practical solutions, feeling our pain, warning us of potential dangers, and just discussing the story in all its glory. Watching this play out is proof that community forums can offer up a multitude of solutions to one simple question: where.

Can outlast trials crossplay share progression across platforms?

9 Answers2026-07-28
I get giddy talking about co-op horror, so here’s the short, useful version I’d tell a buddy before we queue up: you can usually play with friends across different systems in 'The Outlast Trials' thanks to cross-play support, but your individual progression—like unlocked perks, character levels, and most cosmetics—doesn't automatically follow you if you jump from, say, Steam to a PlayStation account. From what I've dug through patch notes and forums, the multiplayer servers let players mix platforms for matches, which is awesome for finding parties. Progression data tends to be saved to whichever storefront or account you used while playing (Steam, Epic, PSN, Xbox). That means purchases, unlocked items, and local saves are typically tied to that platform. Occasionally there are exceptions for things tied to a publisher account, but Red Barrels hasn't rolled out a fully seamless cross-progression system that moves everything between PC and consoles for most players. If you're planning to switch platforms, consider checking receipts for purchased DLC and be ready to treat the new platform as a fresh start unless the developer explicitly confirms account linking. Personally I love that I can still team up with friends on other machines, even if I have to grind some cosmetics again — the scares are still worth it.

Does Minecraft Legends support crossplay with Switch?

4 Answers2026-06-24
No crossplay issues playing with the switch player here. All good with my buddy last weekend playing on the PC. Only minor complaint is the UI looks a bit cramped on the Switch’s screen for split-screen. But trading that off for portable co-op with friends on other platforms is a fair trade.

Where can I read 'The Alpha Train' online?

11 Answers2026-05-23
My last piece of advice: Google the title of your novel plus “Novel Updates”. NovelUpdates.com is a hub for all things fan translation. On the site, you can find links to and read about the current status of any ongoing translation as well as archived series that may have completed fan translation in the past. I would recommend this site above all others for finding translated webnovels.

What snacks should I pack for a long train ride?

4 Answers2026-05-22
The snacks I look for are no-mess. Olives and pickles in individual packets are yummy and odd. Beef sticks are protein rich. For sweets I go for the licorice or fruit leather kind. They won’t melt or get sticky. A small Tupperware with some hummus and the necessary vegetables for dipping is also very nice. A bagel with cream cheese is another good choice. It’s sturdy enough to be packed in a backpack. All these snacks are fun to eat and very suitable for long train rides.

Will outlast trials crossplay support PS4 to PS5 players?

13 Answers2025-11-04
So my cousin and I are on different consoles. I’m on PS4 and he is on PS5. I initially searched online to see if the game supported cross-gen and everything that I read stated that it did. So my cousin and I bought the game, downloaded it and we could press invite and join each other’s games instantly. No extra settings, no extra accounts etc.. Just a very simple experience. The game is terrifyingly fun and even more so with someone to share the experience with. My only worry before purchasing the game was that I’m on an older console and that it may hold us back in some way or even cause problems, but no. The only drawback is that my loading screen is slightly longer than my cousin’s, so I am always the last one to join the lobby, but that is about it. So, to answer the question in the title, no there are no cross-gen issues whatsoever.

How does 'The Girl on the Train' compare to 'Gone Girl' in themes?

11 Answers2025-03-03
A note on the detectives: In Gone Girl, the police are amateurish and outsmarted by Amy. But in The Girl on the Train, a detective helps to uncover the truth and there are several key moments of insight but these come from the detective and also from Rachel’s damaged memory. The work of a detective and the retrieval of truth from within a self damaged by past trauma is a theme that moves from outsmarting a system to internal truth-seeking.
