Synopsis: Auri Meadows suffered an attack that left her scarred and blind. Since she's apparently caught in a self-fulfilling prophecy, she awaits the day her mate rejects her on account of her disabilities and the way she looks. However, the one who turns out to be her mate (Alpha Logan) falls in love with her almost immediately. Alas, their mate bond will be put on trial from the moment they meet, supposedly an indication of the moon goddess's disfavor.

1. Theme: "Determinism (Moon Goddess's Will) vs. Free Volition"
The werewolf realm is one bound by determinism - the idea that actions and events are not products of the will but of causes external to it. In that sense, most werewolf novels (such as this) allude to a "moon goddess" who preordains aspects such as mating.
"Alpha's Blind Luna," following the usual trope, talks about people not content with the concept of a fated mate, though they do operate on the premise that defying the goddesses will has dire consequences.
That would theoretically explain the predicament that the main character (Auri) is in, for her father ignored his fated mate in favor of a chosen one. As "punishment," hunters brutally attacked her, or at least that's what is believed.
The "damsel in distress" theme also fits quite right here. Not only is Auri a victim of aggression but also of neglect, as her father, stepmother, and pack members cast her aside. She likewise develops a feeling of self-loathing as a result.
2. Character: "The BIind Luna and Her Family"
The main protagonists in this story are Auri and Alpha Logan. Nevertheless, we feel compelled to mention others of particular significance to the plot as well.
Let's begin by talking about the main characters:
Auri Meadows
Auri is a she-wolf with a very tragic backstory. Some hunters attacked her and left her blind by injecting her with toxic material and wolfsbane. During that same attack, her mother was put to death, a fact that would make her father overly resentful.
Alpha Logan
Logan is another pack's Alpha, taking over the role at a very young age following his father's death. Since he's been struggling to assume leadership of the pack, he has been unable to find a suitable mate.
Other Characters:
Auri's father: He's the Beta of the pack and works as an accountant for the Alpha's business. He started dabbling in alcohol after he was denied a promotion to Lead Accountant.
Melissa: She is Auri's father's fated mate who moved into her home with Auri's half-brother, Tyler, after the incident.
Maddie: Auri's half-sister. She has a very upbeat attitude and the overall demeanor of a "girly princess."
3. Point of View: "The Luna and Her Acquaintances Tell the Tale!"
The story in "Alpha's Blind Luna" is told from the characters' standpoint, who narrate the events in the past tense.
4. Plot: "The Luna in Distress"
The plot begins with Auri enjoying the "silence" of the forest while her sister Maddie is looking for her. Her drunken father had prohibited her from stepping out of the house or shifting into a wolf; hence, after finding out where she's been, he beats her up and says horrible things to her.
Her father was making Auri's life a literal hell, and Melissa (her stepmother) was not far behind in this. Her step-brother and step-sister at that moment were her only sources of relief, but they wouldn't dare stand up for her out of fear. Aside from those two, the rest of the pack would vilify and bully her, unfortunately, with her parents' backing.
Strangely enough, despite being generally barred from the pack's social events, she gets invited to attend a gathering with members of another pack, which happens to be led by Alpha Logan. Logan has been consistently pressured into looking for his mate for some time now, and this was his golden opportunity to find her.
Auri would attend the gathering for no particular reason. She simply feels it's her commitment to do so. Nevertheless, as soon as she gets the chance, she runs into the forest, where she finds her much-needed solace. Logan would meet her there, and their love story would thus begin.
5. Hottest Chapters in "Alpha's Blind Luna"
Chapter 4 is particularly noteworthy in that we get a glimpse of Auri's self-condescending behavior. At that point, she showcases how she had largely relinquished her chances of improving her odds, particularly at finding a mate.
Her luck would somewhat change only a chapter later (chapter 5), albeit she'd still have to cope with several obstacles along the way.
Chapters 9 and 10 relate the first love scene between the protagonists, and the author doesn't spare any of the details down to the smallest thrust.
6. Writing style: "Even a Blind Person Could Read It, or Could They?"
"Alpha's Blind Luna" is written in a way that literally "wraps" the reader. Every scene is filled with minute descriptions of the characters' surroundings and actions. The world-building is fantastic, and you can almost "smell" what you're reading.
Additionally, despite some confusing passages, the novel is relatively easy to follow.
