Siera Blackwood, the arrogant, spoiled cannon fodder villainess of a popular apocalypse novel, The Last Empress, comes to life in Siera's body after her death in a car accident.
She is familiar with this story. She has read the book 7 times!
Siera Blackwood should be killed off in chapter 3. Abandoned by her fiancé, Marcus Thorn. Pushed into a zombie horde by her stepsister, Sophie. Forgotten. A footnote in the rise of the female power.
However, Siera has two benefits over the original villainess:
First: She's read the entire novel. She knows all of the plot twists, safe zones, hidden supply caches and character secrets.
Second: Her mother's jade pendant which passed with her activates a Stockpile System. Create 100 packs of instant noodles, unlock clean water. Purchase 50 kg of meat, unlock a garden plot. Keep animals; unlock pen. Simple. Grounded. Ideal for the end of the world.
She has 30 days until the outbreak. One month to stockpile, prepare and rewrite her death flag.
She will have noodles, rice, meat and weapons to fill up her space. She will plant wheat, keep chickens, and amass ammunition. She'll not be struck by any of the death flags in the novel set for her. Then when Marcus and Sophie come crawling confused, desperate and hungry she'll be holding the noodles while they're holding nothing but regret.
The novel's story is not to be rewritten. The farther off the story goes from her line, the more it kicks back at her. New threats emerge. Old enemies adapt. The guy who was supposed to betray her is still coming around when she's least expecting him and seems to be remembering another version of the story.
Siera doesn't care. Now she is not the cannon fodder.
She now writes the ending.
