Inette looks at me with genuine curiosity but does it all the same. I use the time to get my toiletries from the bathroom and place them in my luggage. Once I circle the room eight times, making sure I have everything, I head back to the living room where Max is still standing near the door starring down at Ivan whose lost interest in his potential threat and is now playing Xbox. "You ready?" I turn to Max and nod my head. Inette takes that time to come into the living room as well and places some photos down on the small bar we have that separates the kitchen from the dining area.

“How far is it?” The man gazed forward. He saw one of the rooms in the corridor was opened, and the room number was 402. He tries to remember Jessica's words, but he can't; the music is too loud back there; however, he is sure she said room 402, and the door is even open. The man takes Emily to room 402. He pushes her inside and shuts the door.

We both froze in that position in shock. I clearly remember that all the rooms on the second floor are soundproof then how did anyone hear it? It's still early morning.

The said room was on the same floor, we turned to the right and headed down the hallway, reading the numbers on each door as we went. "Wait here." Silas pushed me behind him when we reached Room 9, and then he inserted the key and unlocked the door. The good thing was that it was not Zamani or the Room 9 squad in the room, the creepy part, however, was the emptiness of the apartment. The only piece of furniture was the old, wooden coffee table in the living room, and on it were my belongings. If it weren't for those, I would have assumed we were in the wrong room.

It was an octagon and about eight feet across, it made Evie think of a giant bird cage. The walls of the room were mirrored. As was the ceiling. The floor was a bright shiny white with drains in a few places. There were also several cameras placed around the room. Some on tripods while others were attached to the walls or furniture. They were all moveable and looked like they were aimed at the last activity. “Our cabinet is the second one.” Tank said pointing in the direction of the cabinets. “You can use anything in it.”

So he let the annoyance seep from his body and pointed to a desolate, gray-colored, two-storied building. “We're here,” he stated. On the second floor, Willow and Zack entered the room, which was painted purple from the inside and had soft and slow music playing in the background. Little young Mirabel could be seen walking around the corridors of a place, presumably a hospital, she moved from one door to the other in search of a room. After a long walk, she paused on her steps as she reached a certain door that read ROOM 25A. She could hear voices from inside, more like whispers, Mirabel peeped through the glass window where she could see someone from inside. Her eyes landed on a figure that sat down on the bed, with his back against her, so she couldn't see his face clearly. The other person wasn't in her line of sight, but she knew that there were two people in there.

Two guards follow behind Noe and me as we walk up a winding staircase to the second floor. Unlike the first floor, the second contained hallways on either side of the landing. Noe turns to the right and walks into the first room. I follow at his heels, stopping short when I realize what the room is for. "No." I try to exit, but the two guards create an impenetrable wall behind me. Noe wraps his arms around me, pulling me towards the center of the room. "You don't have a choice."

I wondered, as he pulled me up the stairs, why we hadn't just gone up the main stairs. On the second floor, there was just one door, with a keypad next to it. Russo punched in a code, then tugged me into the room. Fluorescent overhead lights lit up. It seemed they were motion sensitive. I didn't contemplate that long, however. My jaw dropped as I looked around the room.
