UNKNOWN POV The room was dark. Only the low hum of red lights glowed faintly against the walls, flickering across steel cuffs, ropes, chains, and other tools that hung neatly like trophies. From above, muffled music throbbed down through the ceiling, slow, heavy, sinful beats from the club upstairs. This place was cramped and stuffy, with no air ventilation. In the next second, the light in this room went out, and I found nothing but darkness. It was ultimately pitch black. I tried to remain calm but failed. My breathing slowly began to quicken. No, I wasn't afraid of the dark, but this cramped room was suffocating me. A sharper sense of vision, hearing and scent might have gone a long way in helping me accomplish my mission. I blindly reached for the walls hoping to find a switch and when I did, I flipped it on, sighing in relief, when bright light flooded the room. “You’re late.” The woman that had been sitting in the dark said, making me jump a little. “Well try searching for these in the dark and then making your way through really dark woods and let’s see how fast you make it.” I said, rolling my eyes when she smiled one of her very creepy smiles, exposing her yellow, rotting teeth.

I bite my lip as the sound of claws scraping down the door reaches my ears through the loud beats of my heart. The doorknob twists slowly and the door creaks open letting a stream of light into the darkroom. As the lightning strikes outside the window, my eyes find him entering the room swiftly.

"I'll stay vigilant, Luna Nora. Be quick and careful." I gave her a thankful nod before clutching the torch tightly and stepping further into the Black Door Room. The darkness enveloped me, save for the flickering light cast by the torch. Thick layers of dust coated every surface, and cobwebs clung stubbornly to the forgotten relics, as if time had frozen in this secluded chamber. Using the torch's light to guide my way, I cautiously maneuvered through the room, clearing cobwebs and revealing scattered debris. Among the forgotten remnants, a pile of square wooden pieces in a corner drew my attention.

Caden invites me to his room. It's so dark, and I know why. He's a vampire and he hates so much light. He says it makes him feel sick and that if they hadn't taken his fangs then he would probably be dead by now. I walked into the half-dark neon light room. There was a long table with three seats on each side. The room was so dark that I couldn't even see myself, let alone the other occupants. “BOSS!!” The dark room echoed with the voices of my killer-wolves elite assassins.

One sat in the far left corner of the room, and the other in the very middle. They were sealed from the outside and let no light stream through.

"Why is it so dark in here? Can I turn on the light?" While groaning in pain, I said to her in the loudest voice possible. "Casey, please get out of here! I want to be alone. Please get out of my room!" I deliberately shouted at her to get her to leave. From where I was hiding, I saw Casey standing in the middle of the room. I knew she couldn't see me because the room was dark. I panicked even more when I realized my body was covered in dense gray hair. The surface of my pale skin appeared with black veins. Right now, my eyes are definitely bright red. I even felt sharp fangs starting to come out of my mouth.
