The three men from that night were dressed in suits, looking to be at some high-profile event. “These men match your description. They are the triplet Alphas, Cain, Ronan and Leo Vale.” I had never heard of them before. They must be from a small pack. Good. That made getting Elara back easy. “But,” Mason said. His next words stopped me in my tracks. “They are not the Alphas of the pack they are in. They are his Beta, Gamma and Delta, going by their ages.” It took me five seconds to process the meaning of those words.

"Mark, Glow, Dian, lead the pups into the second Jeep. High ranks into the third and fourth, pack members, fill the rest, and Omegas take the last vehicles." He ordered some of his warrior wolves.

Mr Carlos shouted standing up. "I expelled her because she defiled the rules. She had defiled the rules several times and I've overlooked those times but not anymore. Doesn't she understand what's written in the rules?" I asked arrogantly looking at Mr Carlos. "I said it then, you should never have been made Alpha. Brooklyn should have been made Alpha!" Mr Carlos shouted and half the court members nodded with approval. Stupid hypocrites. "Well if that's what you want, You're free to create another pack. I don't give a fuck if you don't like me. I am the Alpha and nothing changes the fact that your Brooklyn is still below me!" I yelled, standing up and everyone kept quiet.

“You okay?” “What happened?” Tessa asked, scanning my face. “You look like you saw a ghost...” I didn’t answer. I couldn’t. Because they were here. Somewhere behind me. Watching me. Their scent still tangled in my bloodstream like a drug. I felt like prey in a room full of predators — and the three most dangerous ones were the very Alphas this night was meant to celebrate.
