He said finally with great effort. “And what makes you think it’s none of my business?” I rose to my feet and walked towards him, Tyler stared up at me with bewildered eyes. “Maybe you don’t seem to realize that the tables have turned, Lycan king. I can crush you with a snap of my finger, I can take that stupid crown you wear as the Alpha King and dispose of any position you hold in your pack.” I said fiercely. “Don’t mess with me.” As I turned my back to him, Liam rose angrily to his feet, and immediately, about ten guards surrounded him, each holding a sword to his throat. I stared at him murderously from the corner of my eyes.

"Going once, going twice..." The auctioneer paused, glancing around to see if anybody could match Denzel Montgomery's bid. When he found no one, he called out, "Sold to the Lycan king!" He banged his gavel against the sound block. Cinnia clapped along with the others as Denzel set down his number plate. Much of the night had been like that. Pieces of art were brought out and purchased by those who bid the highest, then they would choose the charity organization where they wanted the proceeds to go.

Then I smelled my mate, and when I looked at the door, she was standing there with the others. "Your mate has been rejected! How much better could she be than me?" Lica shouted, not knowing that Cindy was there to hear everything she was saying. "She's a bitch, just like Sheena, who whores around. Is that what the royal Lycans wanted? "Women that have been passed on to different men?" she asked. I was furious, but I couldn't help a smirk leave my lips because I already saw what would happen to her.

She was clearly confused. They were still waiting for Marius when he came into the throne room. He walked to his throne and sat on it. The three of them bowed in his presence and he told them to rise. "We have an issue father," Lucian spoke first. His father nodded his head slowly, an action that meant that he should go ahead. The Lycan king tried to sound sarcastic but the room was tense up and both Lucian and Marcus were nervous. Marcus only gave the king a weak smile.

Luther turned to the crowd and yelled. Silence enveloped the room, and I felt my nerves settle. “We’ve happened upon an issue,” Luther said, glancing at Selene hunkered down in a chair by the window. “We’ve killed most of the lycans. But now, we have the lycan king in the dungeon.” “Why!” one of the wolves shouted. “Kill ‘em so we can go back home. My mate is about to give birth.” Luther swallowed. “Selene is mated to him.”
