CONFESS TO ME: For God Until Him

CONFESS TO ME: For God Until Him

This was a career-ending sermon. Confessions were just as bad. As a priest, I obviously could not judge them, but it was quite something. “Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. I lusted after my neighbor’s wife with desire in my heart,” the man confessed. I nodded sagely, trying to focus. “And how many times—” “But she looks just like that dangerous-hot looking Norwegian ex I had. Her ass is round and perfect and…” I coughed to get him back in order.

The Devil Wore A Brown Suit Series

The Devil Wore A Brown Suit Series

“Speak priest before I change my mind.” “Come closer Damnation” Isaac leaned into Daniel to whisper the truth in his ear. Daniel dropped the blade and looked out of the chamber. The clock on the wall showed the time. It was 333. Time had caught up and the truth was released. Daniel sat down in the corner. He was angry. He sobbed uncontrollably. “My life is a lie.” Daniel knew everything and he was not sure what to do with his knowledge.

Alpha's Mage

Alpha's Mage

What if they had written everything against her? Her heartbeat picked up a notch as the seal was opened. Elder George took out the paper. Elder Tamara read it aloud: "We, hereby, confess that we are guilty of being accomplices to mage Aldred—" "This is not what we had written! This is a conspiracy!" sir Xander protested vehemently. Leon agreed, "Yes, we...didn't write something like this! You did it!" he pointed his quivering finger at Erica. She gave them a pointed look. Xavier growled loudly, almost getting up from his seat. Erica held him back.

I am such an idiot. I’ve had this book in my library for an entire month before I decided to give this book a try and I am full of regrets. From beginning to end, this story has been fast past but very detailed, not jeopardizing the plot. I am in love with this book and intrigued by the plot

You Can Call Me

You Can Call Me

42 : "Confused" Confused 42 G A G E My heart skipped a beat when I read her message over Twitter. I went totally blank for almost five seconds and then I tried to gather my thoughts up with me, recollecting the things that I have done when we were in Indonesia and I can't think of a single thing I did wrongly, aside from leaving her at the club after inviting her over that night.

My Tyrant’s Confession

My Tyrant’s Confession

He doesn't deserve to see that he has an affect on me. “Well there is that and I wish that was all I had to apologize for.” Saying that got my attention and my eyes locked with his. “I have been a tyrant to you for years and I realize now that I was wrong. I was not only wrong but I was cruel and heartless. I know it doesn't change anything and I don't deserve your forgiveness but I am so sorry. I spoke with my parents today and they cleared some things up that I completely thought wrong about. I thought all through high school you had been ratting me out to my parents every time I did anything and would get in trouble. I felt betrayed and I was so angry with you. I know it is not a good exc

Bound by blood and lies

Bound by blood and lies

The scent of antiseptic burned my nose. A hospital. I turned and froze. A glass window stretched before me, wide and gleaming. Beyond it— A chair. Restraints. Monitors. Tubes. And me. Strapped to the chair. Pale. Still. A line of stitches running across my scalp. I stepped closer, horror flooding my chest. “What is this?” I whispered. The glass flickered, flashing words in red: "Project Confessor: Subject 01 — Giovanni Moretti" Date: 2002.

Shifted Fate: The Alpha Begs Me Back

He thought I would curl at his feet and accept the fate he’d forced on me. I continued. “Because I did do something wrong. I trusted the wrong people. I was unbelievably naïve. I thought that politics could coexist with peace. That unity between our two species could come without cost.” I turned, slow and deliberate, until I was facing the mayor. “And most of all, Mayor Blackstone,” I smirked darkly. “I was wrong about you.” A hush settled like a fog. Blackstone blinked. “Excuse me?” “You asked me to confess.” I took a step toward him. “So I will.”

THE BILLIONAIRE'S FORBIDDEN SECRET

THE BILLIONAIRE'S FORBIDDEN SECRET

He leans against the doorway and watches me for a long second, like he’s memorizing the moment before it changes. “It’s over,” he says finally. I still my hands. “Over… how?” “The appeal failed.” His voice is steady, but his eyes aren’t. “Unanimous denial. No retrial. No reduced sentence.” The room feels suddenly too small. I wipe my hands on a towel, heart pounding. “And the others?” “One of the last men involved flipped this morning. Full confession. Documents. Flight manipulation. Bribes. Orders.” He swallows. “Everything.”

Dark Obsession

Dark Obsession

I hadn't expected that either — the crying of a man who wasn't performing grief, who had no audience worth performing for, who was simply sitting with what he had done in a room full of people who already knew the shape of it. "He told me it was necessary," Marchesi said. His voice was the voice of someone who had rehearsed this confession in private so many times that saying it aloud felt less like revelation and more like collapse. "He told me she had found out things she couldn't unknow. That it was already decided. That all he needed from me was the paperwork." The room was absolutely still. "I told myself—" He stopped. Pressed his hands harder against his thighs. "I told myself it was j
