Serenity chuckled, taking a step closer till she was standing in front of him and lifted her hand to cup his neck, “You’ll earn their respect in time, for now, all that matters is that they fear you.” The sweet hint of her cherry blossom perfume tickled his senses, even in the darkened room, Serenity was like a beacon of light guiding him. Serenity's POV I felt so heavy. Like a weight was pressing down on my entire body. I felt so uncomfortable and just wanted to get away from it. It was not so much pain, as it was pressure. Suddenly, as if falling asleep, I found myself at the packhouse on the Alpha floor. My surroundings were so familiar, and the smells of my family were all around me. It was so comforting. I felt so peaceful. I walked toward my bedroom, as if dragged... or maybe even possessed to do so. I am not entirely sure why I am going there. Its early morning. I have things to be doing! Pup training and helping in the pack hospital. But I keep going, walking down the familiar hallway.

“Wait here, reception has a package for me.” Serenity nodded as Noah left the apartment, locking the door behind him and she sighed. She’d never been one to sit still and she climbed to her feet, going to the bookshelf. Prying yet another tome off the shelf, she went back to the sofa and sat down, opening it. This book was slightly different than the others. It told of angels and their powers. Of their blood thirsty needs. Of their lust for violence. Every page was splattered with dark stains and Serenity told herself it couldn’t be blood…
