A Book Writer Novels & Stories

Selena sat in front of her MacBook, typing furiously as she continued writing her latest mystery novel. She had always been passionate about writing ever since she was a little girl and had often imagined herself as a famous author in her own right. The book she was currently working on was a murder mystery set in a small town in Maine. The protagonist was a young detective named Lily who was trying to solve the mysterious murder of a wealthy businessman. As Selena wrote, her imagination ran wild, crafting plot twists and cliffhangers that would keep her readers on the edge of their seats.

I don’t know if she really wasn’t or it’s an act, a big act but nevertheless, she answers. “I-I am a writer, it is my job to entertain the readers, my audience and if I can’t do that then why am I writing this book. Why did I create this book in the first place?” It seems like she is acting herself the question, not me. It better not be me. “I just feel like I owe them that much, and so many more. People use their time to read this book, they use money but they end up being confused? I can’t take that and so I am here to stop their confusion.”

I don't know. I know most of you will understand but for those who feel the need to leave negative comments or reviews just remember, there is an actual human being behind the computer screen writing these books. If you're not an author yourself, then you don't understand what we go through to bring these books from a simple thought in our heads to an actual full story you enjoy. Like he had said, I’ll never find happiness. Hey everyone, the turn up for this book has been terrible; zero comments and few reads. It has been heartbreaking compared to the efforts that I’d put into writing it but that’s one of the reasons why I’m a writer. I’ll make sure I finish this book and not give up on myself.
