Lorenzo just gazed at him, his expression a mystery, while Kingsley returned the stare with a puzzled tilt of his head. Lorenzo finally moved, his finger tracing lightly down the side of Kingsley’s face, from temple to jaw, the touch feather-soft and electric. A shiver zipped down Kingsley’s spine; he closed his eyes, surrendering to the caress, his breath steadying. When he reopened them, Lorenzo’s eyes held the same steady watch. Kingsley wasn’t great at reading faces, but the tenderness shining in Lorenzo’s gaze was impossible to miss, like a quiet glow in the dim room.

I tangle my hand in her hair and moan as she makes me feel good. "You taste so good, baby." Heaven utters before putting her mouth back inside of me. I moan loudly and grip her hair tightly causing her moan as well. I look down to make eye contact with Heaven, and I see her smile as her eyes glow. She giggles which causes her mouth to vibrate against my core, and that was enough send me over the edge.

Has her mind been wiped?’ Paris entered the library and followed the scent that was all over the place but he focused on her human scent and then he saw her, her nose in an ancient-looking book, ‘one would think she has read all the books there are to read by now.’

I only know that when my stomach starts growling, I realize it must be late. I haven't eaten for hours and I've been so absorbed in my task, I haven't even thought about food for myself. When she emerged from the bathroom, her hair wet, with her wearing nothing but a tank top and short pajama bottoms, Caleb couldn’t stop himself from turning into some kind of hunting dog, suddenly on point and on alert. Sometimes she hated it, while sometimes, she didn't mind, since she was the only child of her parents, and she chose to understand them. He moved closer to her again and ran his finger through her temple, to her cheeks, and went down to her neck. She tried to keep her breathing steady as he touched her. She could not block out the effects his touch had on her, she was a human with feelings and sensations, so even if she has made up her mind not to go to bed with him, she could still feel aroused when he touched her like that.

“Are you going to buy something?” He tapped the book against the counter. “Maybe. Maybe I just like the atmosphere.” His gaze dragged over her deliberately. “Or the company.” Her fingers clenched beneath the counter. “Then you’re wasting your time.” He chuckled, deep and amused. “Am I?” Silence stretched between them. Thick. Suffocating. And then— His hand reached out, the briefest brush of his fingers against hers as he slid the book forward. The touch was fleeting, but it sent ice and fire through her veins. A reminder of what he was.

At least there, I can have peace. When I arrived at the garden, I felt the peace hugging me. 'Finally.' Away from those stabbing gazes, away from that annoying expression of Rosine, away from that indifferent male lead. Amongst the books I brought with me, there's one with an inconspicuous book with a simple red cover. "From One Space to Another" is the title of the book. It is a romance story about a girl who can teleport from one place to another and a boy who was from another parallel universe.
