I looked up at him in disbelief—only to meet his cold and cruel gaze. "Lynn, get out. Don't make me say it again." My Alpha gave me a final command in a tone that allowed no refusal. I got out of the car, carrying the pup in my belly that kept tossing restlessly. Was the pup also feeling sorrow for me? I wasn't sure. Now, I strike a fatal wound to his throat and rip out his larynx with my claws. Blood sprays everywhere, with the scent of metal in the air. It covers the ground where Alpha John lies and everything around it. Turning to see if anyone else is coming to attack, I watch as the rest of them stand back and then retreat.
