“She gave everything for you. And what did you do? You used her for your own benefit. You used her for publicity, for your image, like she was nothing but a prop.”
He shook his head weakly, trying to speak, but the shadows around his throat silenced him.
“You killed her child, Hyperion,” I spat, my rage bubbling to the surface. “You erased her memories, took away her life, and left her with nothing.”
I saw the regret in his eyes, but it wasn’t enough. It would never be enough.
“You’re not a hero,” I snarled. “You’re a villain. Just like the G.H.C. You pretend to fight for justice, but you’re all the same. All of you. You’re nothing but killers and liars.”
