Delilah will tell Sammy the truth about her nature, but he won't believe her until his family reveals that they hunt monsters like her. His family is part of a secret society of demon hunters who are descended from the archangel Michael. Sammy is a special hunter, The Innocent, who can call the fiery blade to smite demons. Behind the scenes, there is a secret benefactor working to bring Sammy into this world of supernatural creatures. They are the ones who paid for his school tuition and set him up to be reunited with Delilah.
