Accused of Affairs, Guilty of Being Blind

Accused of Affairs, Guilty of Being Blind

"Your article accused me of faking my academic record. Thanks to you, I lost my job, and now the whole neighborhood looks at me like I'm some kind of fraud! Did it even cross your mind what kind of mess you were creating?" "You wrote that crap about me being a nightclub escort who sleeps around with clients. You ruined my reputation! And guess what? I've never even had a boyfriend. You pulled that out of thin air!" They tackled me to the floor and started kicking and punching me. I covered my head and shouted, "I'm not Melanie Reed! Don't you even know what she looks like?" What they said after that crushed me. "You hid your face in every interview with just your eyes showing! Did you really

Crimes and Punishment

Crimes and Punishment

I left Aaron for the meantime on the part where the fountain pens are to go to the novel section. Since I saw Sophie Lark's Brutal Prince on TikTok's recommendation, people who have read this say that it has a strong female lead. I enjoy books of that genre, therefore I may be interested in reading it. I looked at the shelves. I also picked up a book and read the synopsis on the back when Aaron came to me here. "You like reading books?" he asked. I turned my eyes on him, "Uh, sometimes. If I'm interested in the plot," I answered.

Her Accidental Billionaire Husband

Her Accidental Billionaire Husband

You are just trying to take advantage of my company," Rosaline accused, just to annoy him. Frederick glared dangerously at her. "Okay something is definitely going on between these two," Stanley muttered. "Could you keep shut and let me conclude before you begin your accusation," Frederick asked with gritted teeth. "Maybe if you went directly to the point, I wouldn't have said that," Rosaline said, even though she was fully aware that every single word he said was relevant. This time Frederick did not bother to retort. He continued with what he was saying earlier.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved how the story kept moving. I laughed throughout, with the exception of Tina and Liam's story. That one broke my heart. I'm happy it all worked out. I like how Tina's son is asking questions just like she did. I wouldn't mind reading Ethan and Nathan's stories.

Honestly reading it, the author could be a great film producer.... I loved it. I mean this story could be filmed. It’s awesome and every chapter I read, it makes me want more of it. It deserves an oscar...

Accidentally His: Contract of Deception

Accidentally His: Contract of Deception

"So, what do you think? That he's been framed? Why hasn't he said anything to defend himself yet? And beside sis, how the chairman got murdered sill hasn't been disclosed yet, hopefully we get answers during the hearing." Jennifer's voice trembled with uncertainty as she spoke, her words laced with doubt. "I'm not certain if he's guilty or not." she stated. "I mean, he did help me meet the chairman and I've known him for years, but something did seem off then. Now, when I think of it..." Her voice trailed off, her gaze drifting away. Erica's eyes lit up with interest as she munched on her chips, her face inches from Jennifer's. "Like what?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

The Alpha's Secret Witch

The Alpha's Secret Witch

She was looking at me. She was waiting. Elder Marlow cleared her throat. "The accused has been charged with assault against a member of a noble house. The evidence is... conflicting." "Conflicting?" I turned to face her. "What does that mean?" "It means we have two versions of the same event." Elder Marlow's eyes flicked to Cressida. "Miss Ashcroft claims she was pushed. Miss Konstantinou claims she was the victim." "Sha pushed her?" "Miss Ashcroft's account."

I Was Accused Of Cheating

I Was Accused Of Cheating

That slap was harder than what Peter had wanted to inflict on me earlier. Dylan started bleeding from the corner of his mouth. He held his face but still pretended to be innocent as he grabbed Lily’s arm. “Mom! Save me! I didn’t do that… I’m innocent! Brooklyn’s the one who’s framing me!” Lily also lost her train of thought. When she saw the crowd’s accusing gazes, she felt dizzy. The adopted son that she was very proud of was a vicious liar? Her biological son, whom she despised, was actually innocent?

The Alpha’s Banished Luna

The Alpha’s Banished Luna

“A treasonous act of deception meant to fracture the sacred bond of the Alpha and Luna. Her sins are grave.” The crowd erupted in murmurs—some amused, some incensed. None of them for me. “Does the accused have anything to say?” The councilman asked, his gaze glinting with contempt. I stepped forward despite the chains biting into my wrists and ankles. “I didn’t seduce anyone.” My voice cracked but didn’t break. “I was almost assaulted in my room. He came to me.” I stared at the rogue king with all the fury I had. “You know the truth.”

He Accused Me During Code Blue

He Accused Me During Code Blue

A Code Blue in the emergency department means a patient's heart has stopped and every pair of hands in the building is wanted. The president cut his own report off mid-sentence and sent me down to the resuscitation. The charge nurse was already prepping my gown at a run, saving every second she could find. And a first-year resident, three months on the job, was standing in front of the procedure-room doors with a printout from the pharmacy in his hand. He put it to me in front of everyone. "Dr. Hale, sixty ampoules of anesthetic went out of your department in March. Did you take them out and sell them? "The head of cardiothoracic surgery, doing something that filthy? Sixteen years in t

The Wrong Wife for Mr Whitmore: Pregnant, Divorced, Reclaime

I replied, and the moment my text was sent, hers came in. “You’re supposed to lie, ace of spades guy. “I don’t lie, novel girl; and what do you mean ace of spades guy?” “It’s the same reason you call me Novell girl. You're like it's crawling with cards, tattoos, and an ace of spades. Suspicious, if you ask me “You accuse everyone of cult activity?” I chewed on the inside of my cheek to stop myself from smiling again “Oh, my people who message me unexpectedly.” “Smart policy.”
