Her face whitened. 'Has he captured me in my house?' She pulled her hands to her collarbones and drew herself out of the fear. The tension increased in the air. His dark gaze was soft on her but his features were intense. She clenched her hands tighter as she felt them shivering in fright. She drifted her eyes to run away from the dangerous man. Alessandro was dangerous, but she never felt this amount of fear around him. She was certain her husband wouldn't hurt her. But she didn't know anything about this stranger.
