The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

“You know what’s funny?” “What?” “I used to think healing would feel dramatic.” She glanced around the apartment softly. “But actually…” A faint laugh escaped her. “…it feels like choosing curtain colors and arguing over bookshelf placement.” God. Adrian laughed quietly. “Which, for the record, you are losing.” “Absolutely not.” “I refuse to let you organize books by emotional vibe.” “It’s called aesthetic intelligence.” “It’s called chaos.” She shoved him lightly while laughing. And God. That sound. That lightness.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Crave Me,Kill Me

Heat rose to her neck. “I meant creatively,” she said quickly. “Surviving creative burnout.” A tense silence followed. The kind designed to make people unravel. The man on the right flipped through her portfolio. “Your aesthetic is darker than we’re used to. But compelling. There’s a sense of edge… control.” “I think luxury is about tension,” Aria said. “Desire without safety. Wanting what you shouldn’t have.” The woman narrowed her eyes, but didn’t disagree. “Mr. Vale will want to approve any final shortlist,” she said.

“You want another title?” “Not for me alone,” she said, surprising herself with the vehemence. “For *us.* For anyone who chooses this work. So it is not… mine by default. So it can outlast me.” He studied her. “You really think long-term for someone who might burn out young,” he said, not unkindly. “That is exactly why,” she replied. “If I do not, who will?” He sighed. “Fine,” he said. “We will workshop names after breakfast. ‘Gate-idiots’ is my suggestion.”

My Ex's Boss is My Baby's Father

The collection still did not have a name four days before the showcase, which was when Emma came to Chloe's study and said she was stuck. "The showcase requires a title for the programme. I don't know what to call it." "What is it about?" Chloe asked. "The body as a surface for stories," Emma said immediately, which meant she had known and had not connected knowing to naming. "Then that's the title." Emma looked at her. "That's too literal." "What's the word for a surface that receives something and displays it differently than it was given?" Emma was quiet for a moment. "A medium," she said. "Or a membrane."

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Beneath the unfinished HERE LIES line, smaller text glowed into being, as if responding to the brush of my breath on the stone. Titles. In a neat column, each one is separated by a tiny, blood‑red dot. “Salt & Silence.” “Ghosts in the Vents.” “Grin Wiring.” “The Bone City.” “Housekeeping for the Damned.” “Untitled Train Thing.” “Dead Girls Don’t Trend.” “Threadcount.” Some had skull icons next to them, jagged and final. Some had hourglasses, half‑full, sand frozen mid‑fall. One or two just… flickered, as if the system didn’t know whether to mark them as alive or dead.

"Even if I blurred your face, everyone who knows you will know it's you... You just have too many tattoos. I mean, I guess I could blur your whole body, but if I did that, I'll just look like I'm fucking a '1982 poltergeist.'" "Deadass, I'd watch that, but let's go with something more twenty-first century," she proposed with a laugh. "Like 'Paranormal Activity: The Haunting of the Hot Redhead in Apartment 202'..." The suggestion led to me chuckling then kissing her. "That sucks though, imagine how good we'd look together on screen," she carried on once our lip-lock ended. "I can already see all the creative p**n site titles: 'tattooed babe makes curious roommate come hard' or 'real amateur b

“You’re mad.” “And you love it,” Syra smirked. Luiz groaned, scribbling. “This is going to kill me. But it’ll be art.” Linda nodded slowly. “It’ll feel like home. Not just another cold structure.” “Just one thing,” Jackson added. “What are we calling this style?” Yeah, right, we do need a name for that. “Let’s name it what it is,” I say softly. “A fusion. SoulModern. Nairobi’s past kissing its future.”

Paperwork and Hearthbeats

Paperwork and Hearthbeats

“What are you thinking for the stormy aesthetic?” Harper asked curiously, holding up the deep winter swatches which include the colours: midnight, olive, expresso, silver, grey, charcoal, mocha, wine, brick red, ruby, Boysen berry, fuschia, magenta, mustard, honey, Ocea, dark green, forest, jungle, royal purple, mulberry, purple, royal blue, Aegean, and ceru lean. Knox snatched the swatches from her hand, spreading them across the desk like he was dealing a winning hand in a high-stakes game. His parrot green eyes darted over then, his lips moving silently as he processed each colour. “Stormy aesthetic,” he repeated, tasting the words. "Aye, it's got tae feel heavy. Atmospheric. No' just dar

WANTING MY BILLIONAIRE EX-WIFE

WANTING MY BILLIONAIRE EX-WIFE

There was a pause. One of the junior producers spoke. “Ma’am, if we push to closing night, you’ll go on after three heritage houses: Astille, Novari, and HSH. It’s not a small company.” Ximena’s reply was simple. “I don’t intend to be small.” She stood and walked toward the screen, pointing at the last slide. “Change the title. It’s no longer ‘Exposure Capsule.’ It’s called **EXPOSURE – RECLAIMED.** All caps. One colon. No subtitles.”

A Writer's Contract: Twisted Inspiration

A Writer's Contract: Twisted Inspiration

As expected from them things couldn't go over smoothly, even if it comes to something like the title of their book, they ended up at an impasse. "What's that, could that even be considered a title?" Jun said mockingly, "Well at least it's more creative than "Their Murderous Love,", " Iori retorted eying his notebook with disdain. What do you expect from a frivolous romance writer anyway... "Oh! As in "Misconception in the night" Is a more relevant title?" Jun said "Well, at least it doesn't sound like a cheap romance column in a teenager's literary magazine..." Iori said and Jn raised an eyebrow at her.
