SERENA "Elara, what is this?" I asked again. My voice came out higher than normal. "Am I dying? Is this part of the dragon thing?" The old witch moved fast for her age. She grabbed my wrist gently but firmly and looked at the glowing veins. Her face went pale. "No, child. You are not dying. This is your power waking up more. But it is too soon. You should not be showing this yet." She dropped my hand and started moving around the small room, grabbing jars and herbs like she was in a hurry. I followed her, still holding my hands out in front of me like they might bite me.

When did he align himself with all these alphas? “Get back!” I growled at Val, shoving him behind me despite the pain shooting up my leg. My wolf roared, protective, the bond flaring hot. He glared, his stubbornness kicking in, but stayed close, his knife ready. Severus smirked, stepping forward. “Virex, you’re slipping. Protecting that weakling?” He nodded at Val, his Rank 93 aura heavy. My blood boiled, but the trap held me, metal grinding against bone.

"Don't look him in the eyes too long." Kaelen moved like water. Silver-blond hair fell across a face that was too beautiful to be human...symmetrical, still, wrong. His eyes shifted color as I watched. Pale green. Amber. Gray. Like he couldn't decide what face to wear. "And the third..." Benita's voice cracked. "Cassius Vane. Vampire heir. No one knows how old he is. He's been at Blackfrost longer than anyone. He doesn't talk much. But when he does, people tends to listen."

Elegantly dressed in deep blue robes, he steps around the desk. “How can I help?” He questions. His voice was deep and soothing, and his greying hair was slicked back into a low ponytail, kept there by a rope. “The King wishes for you to activate the witch’s amulet and send this girl to her own world with it to be destroyed there.” The Wizard’s expression becomes alerted to the words and steps closer to me. This was the first time someone had approached me where I felt no fear, I just didn’t know why.

Not many people take a second look on the simple wand. It was indeed simple. I am guessing it was around 12 inches long. It was inlaid with small gemstones on its white body. At its other end, there hang three pieces of white ruby on a small, silver chain. As I was staring at it, I heard a voice talking behind me. “It was said to be used by the first person who had his early awakening. I heard that he had double powers before he died.” I turned around and saw that it was Jean. Trudging behind him was Greyson with his hands on his pocket and a laid back expression on his face.

I walked down the stage, rushing into the pack house and straight into Alpha' Lucas’ room. “Fuck I am crazy” I said as my hands shook, as I stood in the centre of his room. I looked around before finding the Luna’s old clothes. I rushed to it, picking one, the spell falling out of my mouth as I brought the second potion out of my pocket and pouring it into her. "Let’s see how you like this.” I rushed back out, barely looking were I was going causing me to rush into someone else. I fell on my bum, the sparks I felt freezing me in place.

His dark hair was swept back carelessly, as though the world itself bent around him and his cold, merciless eyes locked onto me as though he could see straight into my thoughts.

The living room was quiet now; Mary was napping, Richie was reading on the couch, and little Albus was sprawled on the rug with a box of crayons and a worn sketchpad. Brandon glanced over. “What are you working on, bud?” Albus held up the drawing proudly. “It’s the deer-man!” Brandon raised an eyebrow, setting the iron poker down. “The what now?” “The man with antlers,” Albus said matter-of-factly, like he was talking about the sky being blue. “I saw him in the forest. He was really tall and had tree branches on his head, and his eyes glowed. He waved at me.” Brandon chuckled softly. “You’ve got a wild imagination, little man.”

If Henry were there, he would be shocked to find that the old man was much stronger than him and had truly entered the Earthly Immortals stage. What was even more frightening was that Albus' aura had also skyrocketed wildly, and his strength perpetually improved. He was almost as good as the other old man. Obviously, Albus was also an Earthly Immortal. Albert did give them a fake pendant, but with Charlie and Albus' power, they found out within a few days that the pendant was fake.

His grip on my fingers suddenly tightened, as if he were afraid I'd disappear. "Albus's family all died because of a werewolf," he replied evenly, but there was a hint of suppressed anger there. "His children, even his young grandchildren. Nothing is left." My smile immediately faded. My heart raced, and a sudden feeling of nausea gripped my stomach. "Are you too...?"
