Alchemy Books Novels & Stories

Seeing the stack of books piled up high on top of the table I knew I had found the right table. “Alec, I think we should go look in the kitchen. No one is back here.” Savenia said. “That my dear is where you are drastically wrong.” Once we reached the back table I watched as Savenia looked at several of the titles of the books piled on top. “History of the Werewolves. Psychology of the Paranormal. Ancient Greek Mythology. Witches and their Divine Power. Fae and the Woodland Creatures. The History of Dracula and the Vampire Methodology. Werebears and Shifters of all Kinds. Whoaaa. Those are some serious titles. I wonder who checked all these books, then lifted them here.” Savenia said.

"That's it here in Ravenclaw's dormitories. Let's go to the next one." Erik then exits the room, followed by Professor Flitwick and the Aurors, and walks back to the Common Room. Arriving on it, he calls for Susan. "Susan, did you find any pattern?" "Of course I did, Erik. The books missing are the ones on Rituals, the introductory volumes to healing, enchantment, alchemy and magecraft, and all the books on human behavior and non-magical literature." *sigh* Erik sighed listening to her report. Professor Flitwick was alarmed at that.

The shelves curve gracefully along the inner walls of the chamber, following the natural contours of the wood, each one laden with volumes of ancient lore and mystical knowledge. The books that line the shelves are a treasure trove of wisdom, collected over centuries by the Earth Goddess and Theo as they journeyed through the realms of magic and mystery. Leather-bound tomes and weathered scrolls share space with delicate manuscripts adorned with intricate illustrations, each one a testament to the rich tapestry of knowledge that lies within.

Randall was about to reprimand her for barging in when she interrupted him, uttering the very words that made Randall's world come to a standstill. "The Grimoire of The Ancient is missing, Alpha Randall. We have a big problem." *** Alpha Randall, Kellan, Aldric, Merikh, Klara, and, of course, Visha all stood in total silence, that you could hear their very own heartbeats in the courtroom. The heaviness was so thick, thick enough to steal the breath from their lungs. The Grimoire of The Ancient is an ancient book passed down from generations in the Blood Crescent pack. It contains all the ancient battle strategies, sacred knowledge, and unique, powerful spells known only to the Alphas of the

The chamber was surrounded by rising bookshelves that were filled with ancient tomes and scrolls. It smelled like old paper left out to rot in all the corners of the world for a hundred years; air that was so thick and musty with tales untold, you could fill balloons with it. "By the goddess," I answered in a hushed voice, "where are we?" Ria's joyful voice rang in Luna's head, 'Looks like we just struck gold, Luna' "The Complete Chronicles of the First Pack," I read aloud. "The Lunar Prophecies. Bloodlines of the Ancient Alphas." My heart raced with each new discovery.

I don't trust Lyra, and I don't think I ever will, but trying to refrain myself from wanting her so badly is an urge I can't fight against. "It's the curse, isn't it?" Damien asked. My fist clenched, knowing that he was right. I hated the part where he knew everything. Clause and Axle aren't aware of the curse that Lyra acted up a few weeks ago. The Curse of the Unbridled Alpha, an ancient affliction that strikes the most powerful pack leaders, renders them helpless against their primal instincts, driving them to surrender to their basest desires and act on impulse. Their control over their actions is fragile as the moon's phases dictate their fate.

I walked through the palace on instinct, each step heavier than the last until I reached the library. The scent of old parchment and candle wax clung to the air. Shelves stretched up to the ceiling, crammed with books most people had long forgotten. I scanned the rows, grabbing anything with even a mention of curses, or ancient rituals. My arms filled with books, but none of it felt like enough. “Alpha Rowan?” I turned to see the librarian, her face lined with age, but her eyes sharp and curious. “Do you need assistance?” “I need books on moonstones,” I said, voice rough. “Anything you have.”

She ran her fingers along the spines, the gold lettering cool against her skin. Drawn in by the sheer volume, she hesitantly pulled a book from the shelf, a slim volume bound in dark blue leather. The title was etched in silver: The Royal Grimoire of Sacred Oaths. She opened it, her eyes skimming the ornate calligraphy, the intricate diagrams filled with arcane symbols.

she stated, “seems all the Alpha’s are in there reading today too.” I looked at her as she opened the door and there all 3 Alpha’s were sitting with books open and intense looks on their faces as they stared at the two of us. Bryce stood, “where’s Amilia?” I shook my head as I approached the table, glancing at the books still not touched, “she needed fresh air and time alone to gather her thoughts, why are you all reading these books?” I picked one up and sat down, before he could answer and opened the cover, “Hecate, the Goddess and mother of all sorcery,” was the title.

Inside, the air felt colder. Thicker. Like every book here breathed a little on its own. Some were chained shut with silver locks. Some had covers made from materials I didn’t want to guess at—scales, bone, darkened velvet. Alaric reached for one specific volume. Thick. Heavy. Black leather with a sigil embossed on the front: a circle surrounding a cracked mirror. “This,” he said quietly, “is the kingdom’s only known complete record on necromancy.”
