I felt Emily’s gaze fall on me, but I was in my work mode, and I wasn’t really ready to deal with the discomfort her intense gaze gave me. “Emily.” Daniel called out to her and she cleared her throat. “They went missing around four days ago. Their names are Keith and Kiara. Both of them aged four years. They are twins. Keith is male, and Kiara is female.” She explained, her voice coming out hoarsely. Evidence of the fact that she had been crying. It tugged at my heart but I shrugged it off. “Continue. What do they look like? I need a detail to be able to input in my computer.” I said and she continued.

“I honestly don’t think I can leave now Sam. There were wrongs done here in the past and they need to be made up for. I killed Paul, Sam. I might have some backlash for it but...” “Anyone who has a problem with you will have to come through me,” she said matter of factly. “Lucien is a strong Alpha, even stronger now. He will keep you protected.” “I kinda feel like this is the end,” I said as I pulled down her long drive. Samantha nodded, “it is the end of one chapter but the beginning of another. I asked the moon goddess if it was possible to have two mates?” I turned my head to look at her but she had her head turned looking out the window. “She said that I’m not normal. I’ve got both night

Then her palm settled flat against my belly to channel a Healer's energy into me, and her whole body went rigid. "What is it?" I was sweating through the pain. Alice lifted her head and looked at me, her face a tangle of shock and grief. "Sera." Her voice was very soft. "There are two heartbeats. You re carrying twins." I thought I'd misheard. I was pregnant too? Twins? Two small lives growing inside me? I felt no joy, only a deep, knifing dread the moment I thought of Cassian ever finding out. I pushed myself up off the bed. All I wanted was to run. "Alice, get me out of here. Now."

"What the fuck are you doing there?" "You seem to forget that you're no longer my Alpha." She sniped, but the truth was, deep down, she was a little bit sad that this was not the type of reaction she was looking for. She wanted Ace to be a little bit jealous that she had been kissing another man. And not just any man, his twin brother. Though, she was pained to admit that Ace was the better-looking twin.

Alice turns the car around and drives us out of the driveway and into the road. We blast some music From Alice's phone and jam our hearts out to my favorite song by Melanie Martinez. She had recently released her new album 'K-12' and. It. Is. AMAZING! And her musical movie, EVEN BETTER! I was quite a fan of hers since she first appeared in The Voice. How she's come a long way. “It's my fault, it's my fault, 'cause I put icing on top” "Now, the boys want a taste of this strawberry shortcake”

There was Elegance, beauty, and pride all spelled out in the outfits they wore. The way both men sat next to each other, their garments matching as our souls connected, was a moment I would never forget my entire life. The world always works like a constructive ball of criticism. No matter what kind of preparation I had my entire life, nothing has ever prepared me for this moment. I didn't think it was possible, heck, it can't even be possible. But the moment my eyes locked with the both of them I knew that my time had come. I did not need any other kind of explanation or for someone to tell apart who was exactly the one. Was this really what was going to happen? that the two handsome alpha'

My pulse thudded in my neck, hard enough to hurt. Slowly, I opened it. And I felt the blood drain from my face. My vision blurred for a second — not from shock but from something far deeper, something that cracked sharply down the center of my chest. “Fetal records: Multiple pregnancy.’ *‘Outcome: Alive.’ Alive. Not one fetus. Two. Twins. My lungs locked. " Alice had lied to me,too" My hands tightened around the paper until the edges crumpled. Twins. They survived.

My entire body shook. Kael looked just as shocked. The witch doctor stumbled backward. Chloe's eyes widened. And then…The voices whispered again. Mommy… They're watching us. My blood ran cold. Kael's expression darkened. "Who's watching you?" Silence. Every person in the room froze. The coven. The twins knew….They knew. And before anyone could speak again Every candle in the room suddenly went out. Darkness swallowed the room. And from somewhere outside the sanctuary…

"I will. Now, let's dive into these stock and shares files and see what insights we can uncover." **** It had been an exhausting day at work for Alice as she drove past Axel and Mia's school. To her surprise, she spotted the twins waiting for her at the front gates. Alice pulled over, and as she stepped out of the car, Mia and Axel eagerly waved at her. Returning their wave with a smile, Alice watched as the twins hopped into the car. Curious about their day, Alice asked, "How was school, you two?" Mia piped up first, "It was fine, Aunt Alice. How was your day?"
