ALIYAH'S REVENGE

ALIYAH'S REVENGE

Elena said with a relieved smile. Aliyah stepped inside a narrow hallway lit by a single bare bulb. The scent of boiled cabbage and old carpet filled her nose. Elena led her to a small room with a twin bed, a rickety dresser, and a single window looking out onto a brick alley. “It’s not much,” Elena apologized, “but it’s safe.” Aliyah sank onto the bed, exhaustion and relief mingling in her limbs. “I’m free,” she whispered. Elena perched on the dresser. “You are now Marina. Remember: no mention of Perez. No mention of Aliyah Haven. You’re a community college student from Marin.”

HIS TO DESTROY

HIS TO DESTROY

The night before, Isa handed her a handwritten note: “Turn after the third fence, between lights three and four. The hole’s weak. The bunker entrance is seven degrees clockwise from guard post C. You walk in slow. Upload your face code from me at the terminal. Be quick.” But Catalina felt weak when she cracked the fence and felt the breeze of cold steel. The compound guard didn’t greet her. He didn’t stop her either—two minutes of nothing before he shouted. Flashing lights. Sirens. She froze behind a rusted steel shipping container, breath loud in her ears. Footsteps approached and retreated. Someone shouted in Romanian. She didn’t understand. She raised her hands. Her stomach churned—faint

The premise is good. however the implementation, not so much. If this book was translated into English, the translation is very, very bad. Improper word usage, grammar, punctuation and spelling. Not just a little bit either. I finally had to give up, which I don't usually do.

Marked, Broken and Carrying his Heir

Marked, Broken and Carrying his Heir

The Combat Test. Isabella led them to a larger room. Industrial. Multiple levels. Obstacles. Cover. Four guards stood waiting. Men the girl had never seen. Bigger than Atlas. Armed. "Scenario," Isabella said. "You and Atlas have been captured. These men are interrogating you. You need to escape. Neutralize the threats. Get to the exit." She pointed to a door at the far end. "You have no weapons. They do. Survive. Succeed."

The Debt Collector's Price

The Debt Collector's Price

The ground I fought a corporate war to reclaim. And I own it with exactly two dollars and forty-seven cents in my pocket. The cold is heavy, a wet blanket of salt and ice that cuts through my jacket and burns in my lungs. Behind me, the Aegis team is already swarming the pier, unloading the modular units. I hear the grind of steel on steel as server housings and construction materials are wrestled onto the island. Gabriel appears beside me. He’s standing too close, his body blocking the wind. "Isla. We need to talk."

Alien Mate

Alien Mate

"In that case, we'll need to land, and you can disembark manually." "Make it so," said Lex, crossing his arms over his chest imperiously. "Um, shouldn't you put some clothes on first?" "What for?" asked Lex, his brow creasing. "I need to be nude to bond with my mate." "Yes, but you'll need to find her first," said the AI with a long-suffering sigh. "You can't seriously think you can wander around naked and not be noticed. It's bad enough your skin is blue, but a giant, naked blue male wandering around a human city is sure to get noticed."

Mine Alone

Mine Alone

The young technician's eyes widened in horror. "No... Boss, please! I swear it won't happen again! Please!" His desperate cries echoed through the mansion as two guards dragged him toward the back door. Tyler walked over to the bar and calmly poured himself a glass of whiskey. He took a slow sip. A few seconds later, a single gunshot echoed from outside. The room fell silent. No one dared react. Tyler set his glass down and adjusted the cuff of his sleeve as though nothing had happened. “Book the jet.” "For California, Boss?"

THE GAME

THE GAME

A bottle of alcohol was kept in the center. "This is how the game works, when you pick a number out of this ten piece of paper; then spin the bottle on the floor, whoever the bottom of the bottle face will be your partner for whatever you have picked. Either a boy or girl; it does not matter." She said and smirked I was Already having a bad feeling about the game but i decided to play along for once. "So who is going first?" Kelly asked Tala "I will!" A guy answered... So he picked a number among the ten piece of paper on the floor.

The Billionaire's Ex-wife is untouchable now

"Claire won't stop until she's backed into a corner. She's starting to panic. That makes her more dangerous." "She always was dangerous. You were just too blind to see it,” Isla scoffed, making Leo smirk. "Not anymore,” Lucian whispered back. Leo cut off their conversation. He was holding a tablet in hand. "Our guy says Alina's been moved into an isolated wing. Claire's team likely got tipped. We’ll have a narrow window and a hard time." "Then we will take it," Lucian said. Isla looked out the window. Mountains loomed in the distance, creating a serene scenery of nature all together.

Turning Heads After Divorce

Turning Heads After Divorce

Lucian didn't even glance her way before turning to escort Nevaeh into a nearby private restaurant. Midway, Nevaeh—who was clinging to Lucian's arm—suddenly looked back at Marisol. Her almond-shaped eyes glinted as one hand dabbed at her smudged lipstick. Her lips curled into a smirk. "What a bunch of bastards!" Alinta seethed. Marisol's face remained blank. Ignoring the provocation, she pulled up a black programming interface on her phone, input a series of commands, and summoned a hidden lock icon on the screen.
