Zyra gazed at the flickering flame, feeling its heat. She thought of a roaring bonfire, its flames dancing and consuming everything in its path.
"Spirits of fire, I call upon you," Circe intoned. "Lend me your passion and fury. Protect me with your fierce energy."
Zyra repeated the spell, and the flame flared brighter for a moment, its heat intensifying. She felt a rush of warmth spread through her body.
"Finally, water," Circe said, holding the bowl of water out to Zyra. "Feel the fluidity, the adaptability of water. Imagine the power of a raging river and the calm of a still lake."
