Her nerves were frayed, causing her breaths to come in short gasps that she couldn't seem to control. As she sat in the dimly lit room, her heart raced with anticipation. Verity drew in a deep breath, her nerves jangling like a discordant symphony within her. As soon as his eyes met hers, the man's gaze illuminated her with a radiant glow. Rip it from my chest, stomp on it and throw it away like regular everyday rubbish. ANA I stand in the bathroom with the glass in my hand as I wrap a sock around the base of it so I don’t cut myself. And by my mental calculation, I was about to get another anytime soon. I was nervous, and at the same time hopeful. It’s basically because I have a plan that I was about to unleash. Who knows what would happen in the next ten to five minutes? I don’t know, but I wish it turns out right because this could be the only chance I get in trying a shot. When the door opens, I hold in my breath to conceal how awfully tense I was. I have to remind myself that this should work. It really should.

I inhale and take deep breaths, I'm just nervous.
