Aulia nodded her head once Hisoka glanced at her, requesting her permission as well. “Great.” Hisoka intertwined his fingers together, placed his elbows on the table, and propped his chin on the intertwined fingers. “This man, next to me, is one of the Mandrill Monkeys or so-called Mandrill. His code name is Captain, coincidentally the captain of the group.” Captain shot up and slightly tilted his body forward. “The name is Captain, one of the Mandrills and also the leader. I humbly greet all of you.”

I roar and I manage to stop him from grabbing the guard. “Sorry, Alpha Preston. I think you need to explain to your Pack that you have a Squad here and that my second and third in command go, wherever the hell I go.” I say. I see Alpha Preston scratch the back of his head, looks like he forgot a few things about Squads and their Captains.

“Squad 11, this is now our commanding officer Captain Aster Likaya. She will be leading us throughout the duration of the mission.” “Honored to meet you Squad 11” The Captain saluted back at the voltiirs putting them at ease. Battle Mage’s rarely held a spot in the DragonWolves, he expected some pangs of curiosity to emerge from the others but none came. “I trust you’ve all read the briefing files?” “YES MAM” cracked the squad. Froster noticed a light startle coming from the Captain. She truly wasn’t a Dragonwolf. “I trust you know what to expect?”

“Yo, noticed how our captain has been spending more time on his phone, smiling.” They whistled in agreement. My body tightened, my hands freezing. “Probably a new chick,” another said, “his girlfriend doesn’t make him smile this much.” Another inched closer to him. “So who’s the new chick?” Zane knitted his brows. While I? I kept my eyes on my blank screen. The omega on their team flicked his gaze upward. “Or who's the new guy?” Across from them, my spine locked, my heart thumping.

“Their hair is deadly and their tempers are even worse. Better don’t cross their path” I press my lips tight. “Good to know.” The final scroll bursts from the flames……Group one Kael’s name is call as captain and there are cheers, Adrian’s name follows as co-captain. The hall exploded with whispers and Adrian stiffens beside me. “Can I ask something? If it’s not too personal?” I turn towards him, watching his jaw clench. “What’s the story between you and Alpha Kael?” He froze……Completely. A chuckle comes from Lucien, “Well Angel, that story alone will take—”

Kalen thought, he found it funny. “Good morning, comrades.” He finally greeted with a smile, in a reserved and respectful manner. “Good morning.” Zayn also greeted while maintaining his poker face. This was not the Tiger military division where he could ignore others without any repercussions. Since when the A. I first announced their arrival initially, the knights, in the room already stopped their activities as they all curiously looked at their new squad mates. “You are both welcome, I Knight Captain Hull, I’m the leader of this squad.” A bald-haired man, with a round face answered with a wide smile as he stood up.

Selene’s lips curve up faintly—not quite a smile, not quite indifference either. Everything about her is controlled. That level of control and awareness isn't common for new recruits There is something about her I am not seeing. And I don’t like not seeing things. I turn slightly to one of my captains. “Squad five,” I say quietly. He follows my gaze. “What about them?” I pause. That’s the problem. I don’t have an answer yet. “…Keep an eye on them,” I say finally. The captain nods. I look back once more.

The tall one had blonde hair, brown eyes, a bag over his shoulders and daring look while the other had blue hair with blue eyes, his face was cute, like a fallen angel. “That’s Emory and Marsh, Emory is the captain of the hockey team” Xyla whispered in my eyes, it felt like talking about them openly would inquire consequences. I looked over at them, their seat were aligned. Emory sat behind Marsh. A part of the hockey team, I thought about it, seeing them made me excited, I couldn’t wait to apply for the hockey team. “Marsh is the right defenseman” Adele added. I nodded, then she leaned closer.
