One of the elders, Elder Neo, stepped out. "Alpha King." He greeted. The Alpha king waved at him. "Alpha King, I think... we should get a new crown prince." Elder Neo spoke up with slight hesitation. The Alpha King cleared his throat, casting a glance at his stupid son, Zebulun. That was what he thought of him. Stupid, useless and worthless. "What do you mean by that, Neoland?" The Alpha King said, picking up his brush to stroke on the paper before him.

“You’ll keep that loud mouth of yours shut from here on out, understand? If I hadn’t sensed him coming, we would’ve been caught.” Adeline rubbed her forehead, frowning at him. She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, sarcasm dripping from her voice. “What’s wrong? Is the big bad Supreme Alpha scared? I thought you were supposed to be tough.” Enzo’s eyes flashed with amusement, but his expression stayed serious. Without warning, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her close, spinning her around to face the gate Andrew had just walked through. He cupped both sides of her head and aimed it toward the gate.

He had completely forgotten that Enzo was an omega, and an alpha's hormones could easily induce an omega's heat. “Drake, take Enzo back to his house," he ordered. Drake nodded, taking the paper bag from Enzo's hand and dropping it. Enzo winced as Drake's hand touched his waist. His house was located right next to Lucian's mansion. "What's your password?" Drake asked. "My body is perfectly fine, I can walk on my own. Let go!" Enzo groaned, moving away from Drake. Drake growled, pushing Enzo back against his body.

" Good morning, Alpha James. What a pleasant surprise. " he greets me friendly, but I hear the distress in his voice.

A guy said, throwing some cloths at her which she caught effortlessly. "And who are you?" Summer asked as she was fully clothed now, thanks to the guy beside her. "Am Dorian, the alpha of the crystal pack and the alpha son, Mr Derek your school principal" Dorian said as he turned his back on her and started walking out of the woods while Summer hurriedly trailed behind him. "And what are you?" The guy suddenly asked, stoppingon his track as he stared at her, his cold gaze piercing deep into her soul. "What do you mean, what am I? I'm Summer Jera..."

“For now.” He nodded. Because even he understood that. Recognizable footsteps approached from the outer side of the chapel. Enzo appeared first. He is breathing heavier than usual, his shirt marked with blood, dust and sweat, but otherwise intact. “Well,” he muttered as he stepped inside, scanning the room. “That was f8cking fun.” A few of the men let out quiet, tired exhales. Relief. Even if it came in fragments. Enzo’s gaze moved across the group, stopping briefly on Althea, then Nicholas, then Dominic.

**Winter's POV** The sight of Enzo emerging from the shadows was a balm against the darkness that threatened to consume me. His presence filled the chamber with a palpable energy, a storm of silent fury that crackled against the oppression tightening around us. My heart beat a little steadier at the sight of him—the tether that anchored me amidst the chaos. Enzo's eyes, aglow with the ferocity of a wolf's spirit, settled on me with a fierce intensity that offered promises unspoken yet deeply felt. Even amidst the darkness, his gaze held a light of untamed resolve.

He looks annoyed that I did that. I finally find Enzo at his cabin. “Hey, you ready to go?” I ask him. He was about to kiss me as a response, but I swiftly back away. “A simple yes or no would do.” I say briskly and panicky. “Whoa! Okay, yes, I am ready. She leaves me in this room, after giving me the best kiss I have ever had, leaving me yearning for more. I need to focus. This is not my task. My people come first. In a few moments, I am brought a very generous meal by one of the guards. I have not seen Jack since I realized that he is an Alpha. I am also given a better bed, this one is brand new. I eat my meal thinking solely about Vanessa and the kiss we shared. I can’t help but replay it over and over in my head. When I am done eating, I lay down to sleep before it’s even night, and sleep carries me far into another land.
