Alpha Richard greeted us at the front door and showed us to his office. “I was surprised when I got Alpha Jordan's message. What can I do for you?” I wanted to avoid talking about our intentions with Sally at any cost. Alpha Richard was known for bargaining for anything and even stooped so low that he had blackmailed other packs to bend them to his will. “You requested information about Sally Freeman on the Blacklist a few days ago. Is she here?” Alpha Richard stiffened. “Yes. A Rogue named Sally Freeman was indeed captured and we wanted to know if she was registered on the blacklist.”

“Swear to me you won’t harm Alpha Richard and I’m your man.” “I don’t bargain with those of lesser rank. But I understand where you’re coming from, Epsilon. Ricky and me go back a long way, that’s why I was generous enough to bankroll him last year.” Liz gasped. “No matter what he owes me or how personally let down I feel by his latest escapade, killing an old friend is not what I’m about.” He knelt and bared his neck. Unless I went into human territory, I couldn’t afford to complain about what I wore. Now feeling fresh, I flipped open the folder with Ryker’s name on it. A few hours into reading it, I learned there wasn’t much personal information on him. Most of it was just his qualifications, his skill set, why he was stationed here, a bunch of useless information, and a few pages of classified information. Not that I didn’t enjoy reading it, but it told me nothing about who he was as a person. I could understand why he was the Alpha, and he was the one tasked with finding a cure. Until now, I didn’t realize there were werewolves immune to the virus.

Well, only beta people would work. That meant zero problems and more productivity First thing in favor, I wouldn't have to deal with the classic alpha rank fights that used to happen or the tense atmosphere that was always created.
