What was true was this. Amara had arrived with one bag. She had rebuilt a hall and restored a network and invoked charter provisions nobody had used in generations and found carriers and built a community and started a consultation and established an institution. All of that was real in the world of this story and had been built chapter by chapter with genuine attention. What was also true was that by chapter one hundred and thirty three the story had reached a point where each development was somewhat predictable from the previous one.
