“Well the Alpha never divorced you, did he?” “Mama!” Amara runs back into the living room. “You changed the password to the ipad again, I can’t unlock it.” Theo squints at the child, visibly taken back. She addressed Leila as Mama, Leila was pregnant with Tatum’s child when she left the pack but that was five years ago, this child looks barely three years old but she ran in with the speed and has the strength of a much older child in her legs. Amara halts, noticing the foreign presence in the room and seeing the hostile look on her mother and grandmother’s faces. She drops the ipad and bravely walks up to Theo, scowling at him, folding her fists into a punch.

“Sounds intriguing. Are you sure it’s not just a line to impress us?” Arthur put a hand to his chest in feigned offense. “I would never! But seriously, you’ll love it. The view is breathtaking, almost as much as the company.” I laughed, clearly enjoying the playful exchange. “Alright, Arthur. We’ll hold you to that.” Meanwhile, Gabriel continued his conversation with Amelia. “So, Amelia, what do you do when you’re not dazzling Vegas with your presence?” Amelia smiled. “I’m a graphic designer. I love bringing creative ideas to life. What about you?”

I walked outside to spread some clothes and I ran in immediately. Laman stood on the floor, his legs shaking. He had fully shifted into a small wolf pup with blue fur. He was wagging his tail repeatedly while Leo was hailing him, clapping his hands and laughing. The shift had torn his clothes to pieces and a large piece of the crib was laying just beside him. “Laman!” I whispered, carrying him up quickly before anyone would walk past the open door and try to attack him. His little wolf form was warm and soft on my neck. Leo reached for me with his hands, his own eyes flashing

-Amara's POV- "Days passed, and I settled into my new routine. The staff welcomed me with open arms, sharing stories and laughter. Elara became a mentor, guiding me through the intricacies of household management. Thomas, the charming footman, often snuck me extra treats from the kitchen. And then there was Emma, the shy but talented seamstress. She shared her passion for fashion, and we spent hours discussing designs. I found myself smiling more often, feeling a sense of belonging.
