Amazing Ex Wife: Come Back Please Novels & Stories

I replied to her with even a louder tone that made the people around us interested in what we had going on. She sat down back, unable to talk or reply to me as I had created the scene she wanted. “Firstly, you don't get to talk to me about what or who I want to be with, Travis was my ex-husband you stole from me and now he wants me back, you're on the edge…I don't even have his time yet, you're all worked up just imagine if i do, what will be the outcome of you?” I asked and she clutched her fist tightly but didn't say anything.

Then he left, closing the door behind him. I sat there alone in the quiet room, listening to the sound of the air conditioning. Then a voice filled the space, startling me at first. It was deep and commanding, coming from the speaker on the wall. "Mr. Hart. Thank you for coming." I looked around, searching for cameras. "Who are you?" "That's not important. What's important is that we discuss your wife." "Ex-wife," the voice corrected. "The papers were filed two weeks ago." My hands curled into fists on the table. "She's still my wife until I sign those papers. And I'm not signing."

As we sat together on the rooftop terrace outside the office cafeteria, sipping lukewarm coffee and unwrapping food, I finally said what had been sitting on my tongue since that night. “I know you’re pursuing me, Matthew.” He didn’t deny it. Just met my gaze openly. “Yeah. I am.” “I need to be honest with you,” I said. “I’ve been married before. Ethan is… my ex-husband. We share a son. And I’m still trying to rebuild from all the damage.” “I know,” he said gently. “I have a child,” I added, as if he might’ve missed it the first time. “And a complicated past. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve had my heart shattered. I’m not some clean-slate love story.”

Marcus “Hello everyone, my name is Anna, and I am the daughter of Bel Air Companies worldwide.” The words of my ex-wife resounded in my ears as I stared at her with opened eyes. I was reeling in denial, refusing to accept that Anna could ever lie to me. She was my silver lining of hope and the best thing life ever sent my way. Watching her stand on the podium, delivering her speech, I felt a tightening in my chest, her betrayal changing my view about her.

While I sob silently in the car, I took my phone that was already placed beside me by Louis and messaged Vivienne that I was coming to her place. I thought I had gotten over my husband…nope, my ex-husband… Alex, actually, but spending recent times with him and the advice I got from my friend caused old feelings to ignite inside of me. But this flame, I will quench. I promise… We arrived at Vivienne’s place a few minutes later, and upon stepping into her living room, my breath skipped a bit. I froze in place, still trying to process what my eyes were seeing. As I tried to process everything, my eyes widened in disbelief, my mouth agape like a fish out of water.

"And you never even told us your ex-husband was a billionaire!" My eyes widened, and a knot twisted in my stomach. Since the day I left Leo, I had told no one about my past. I buried it all and quietly started over. "Billionaire?" Karl's brows shot up. "Where did you hear that? Rose has never mentioned anything like that." "That's exactly it,"Mia said. "She's never said a word about once being a billionaire's wife. Can you imagined how wealthy her ex must be?" I forced an awkward smile, unsure how to respond without drawing more attention.

He asked. Areiza looked at his flawless face with her teeth gritted in anger. Although she didn’t want to admit it, she couldn’t help but think that he was God’s favorite. He was not only wealthy, but he was also excellent in all aspects. No wonder a lot of women admire him. Even though her heart was pounding in her chest, Areiza suppressed her emotion and only gave him a cut reply, “I don’t care who you are nice to, my ex husband.” However, as soon as she said these she realized that she should not have said that.

He was an amazing husband. “I'm glad you are,” he said and pecked my cheeks. His phone lit up and he momentarily looked down at his phone. I looked away, trying as much as possible to be happy and giddy but I couldn't find it in me. Today would have been her sixth year birthday. It still hurts just thinking about the fact that I'd never see her again. My chest was still tight and it felt like just yesterday that I had been holding her lifeless body, my little angel's lifeless body.

She was everything. Round after round, we gave in to each other. And when we finally collapsed in silence, my arms wrapped around her, all I could think was: I’m not going to be able to walk away from this. Not now. Not ever. Just as I was about to drift off with Ava curled against me, my phone buzzed. A single message flashed across the screen. “Your wife is back from London.”

“That’s why you agreed to this marriage?” “Yes,” she replied bluntly. There was no trace of emotion in her voice, no second thoughts. I felt the corners of my mouth tighten. “Well, you’ve certainly played the part of the obedient wife,” I said, my tone almost mocking. “But if you’re going to pay me alimony, make it worth my time. How about $20 million instead?”
