She smiled and said, "Brooks, I didn't ask my dad for the money so don't try to give any back to him. I have money baby. I didn't know I had money put up but apparently, my dad had been saving money for me since I was a baby. He gave it to me last night and before you try to protest and tell me to return the shoes, I made sure it was ok to spend some of it on what I wanted before I bought them. I still have more than enough money put back for what it is needed for and I am allowed to use some of it as I see fit. I opened an account at the bank today after school and put most of it in the account and I have some on me. What I don't use today will go into the account."
