Chapter 2- Caden I groan as I stared out the window in my father’s office. I watched pack members run back and forth as they ready themselves for The Run. I hate the idea of The Run. It’s barbaric ways of claiming a mate one I regret my ancestors to agreeing to. I want to find love like many my age, but as the next Alpha to my pack I have to take a mate this time or face losing my title and watch my power hungry cousin take it.

Everyone was too busy enjoying their time, watching the game, and drinking the night away. "Dream on, Craig. Russell is so much better than you. He will always be better than you, and when my parents finally meet him, they will see it too." I scrunched my nose in anger. Who the hell does he think he is? "They need new equipment," Cassi replied "They treat us like we're cash cows," Jason mumbled "But you are cash cows," Trinity reasoned making us laugh.
