She bit her lip but didn’t argue when I helped her to her feet, handing her my shirt to wear. I couldn’t help but smirk when she stumbled and I caught her in my arms.
“Trouble walking?” I teased. It was to be expected after what I’d done to her.

“Your fault,” she muttered churlishly, trying to push away.
Instead, I held her more firmly, lifting her into my arms to carry her back to my place.
