“Take that, dickhead! That’s what you get for trying to pounce on our mate!”
My tail twitched, placing my fronts paws down, and my back paw started tapping impatiently, the signal he knew all too well. He came closer immediately. I pointed my ear toward the laughing couple, and Alek followed my gaze, smiling as he tugged his shirt off — which, frankly, distracted the living hell out of me.
“Nick and Niko,” he said with a grin. “That’s their pup, Nicky. Good kids. Probably fated mates when the Yellow Moon Ball comes around. I’ll introduce you to them before I leave tomorrow, okay?”
