When The Billionaire Fell Novels & Stories

Six months and two million dollars and my family's debts gone and then I walk away with more money than I had ever seen in my life. I wanted to scream. I wanted to throw my arms around this cold, blunt, unfairly handsome stranger and scream because this morning I had been standing in a bridal suite in a lilac dress I hated crying about a life I was losing and now— I raised my head to look at him. He was looking at his phone, completely unbothered. The kind of man who had just arranged someone's entire life over a fifteen-minute car ride and found it mildly administrative. Six months, I thought. Six months and then two million dollars and freedom. He has absolutely no idea what he just signed

He stared at the glowing screen, the full, unbearable realization of how completely he had been played settling deep into his very bones. I did not stick around to hear his reply. I pulled the rough grey coat tighter around my freezing shoulders, turned the corner into the dark alleyway, and left the billionaire to face the catastrophic ruins of his own making.

Back then, I had smiled and told him, "Alright then. When you become a billionaire, I'll be right there to applaud you." Now, he had actually done it. He stood at the pinnacle of the world, a revered billionaire. But the girl who promised to cheer for him had been pushed into the abyss of death by his own hands. "No... no..." Kael shook his head frantically, snot and tears streaming down his face, sobbing without a shred of dignity. "I don't want to be a billionaire... I just want you alive!" "Elara, take it back... wake up and tell me yourself!"

I lost my balance and came crashing to the floor but just before my body hit the ground, a pair of large arms grabbed me. My breath hitched in my throat as my gaze met his again. He was smirking dangerously this time and it made my heart flutter wildly. “It seems you have a thing for tripping and falling for handsome men,” his voice drummed into my ears. “By the way, you smell like good sex.”

My jaw dropped. He's not a broke Billionaire. At this rate, he's a trillionaire! I just stepped into a beautiful world filled with lies with my trillionaire.

He was stalling at the edge of the door instead of moving towards the couch. "Yes, it's afternoon indeed but not a good one Mr Milano" The grumpy man grumbled, lines forming on his forehead. I tried not to look smug as I exactly knew what he was angry about. It was getting tiring persuading him for an entire year so I bought his friend's company. As expected Nolan had a close relative who was ready to sell out and be happy in his townhouse. His brother. Nolan had invested in that business in the beginning so he was pissed.

Immediately he heard her answered, he flings the door open, march to her desk, pick up the TV control and put it on. The heading news was just as he read from his phone. The cold-hearted billionaire has gone missing. Anna ended her phone call when she saw the news heading, she took a few stride to Khalifa and lean closer to him, her eyes glued to the screen on the wall. "Is there someone else known as the cold-hearted billionaire? Tell me he is not the one, no he can't be." Anna said. Khalifa put off the TV and spun around. "Sis, he's the one, he's the only businessman in the whole city L that's referred as cold-hearted."

he asked. “Can you flip to the eight page.” Mr. Matteo requested. Octavio did as he was asked and was shocked at what he saw. “Looks familiar?” Mr. Matteo asked. “Aaron Richards?” Mr. Matteo nods. “I thought it went down.” Octavio now confused, turned to his uncle, hoping for some sort of explanation. Less than three years after the confrontation at the park, Mr. Richards filed for bankruptcy, shut down all his businesses including the antiques shop save the art gallery which he sold to a mega group. Couple months later, he turned up dead.

Finally, she covered him with the thick quilt then she breathed a sigh of relief. Seeing Bill with a helpless look, she felt a bit sadness in her heart. She was used to see him with his powerful aura every day, it pained her to see the man lying on the bed with unconscious state. She then realized the billionaire’s life wasn’t all that good. Though he had vast sum of money that could fill up his entire mansion, but when sickness stroke him, his money is nothing. Though he had lots of people wanted to be around him, at the end of the day, he was still alone, sick and lying helplessly.
