She walked further from him and picked up some papers and read through them, “Well, we are adding a carnival, two more circuses and a magician show…” “What?, Really?”, he took the paper from her and went through it. “They all claim to have dragons…”, she said. “Locked up somewhere in a cage like an animal, restricting their movements and making them instruments for entertainment against their wish”, he ranted, seething in anger.

​From the depths of the incandescent white walls, three colossal figures emerged. ​They were the Master Animators, eleven-foot, faceless entities forged from solid, polished gold-leaf armor, their chests open to reveal massive, spinning brass wheels that churned through thousands of master typeface stamps every second. They carried no weapons, but their long, multi-jointed arms ended in heavy silver styluses that vibrated with a high-frequency alignment pulse designed to rewrite the physical anatomy of any rogue variable that entered their margins.

Almost all were crying while staring at the horses' organs. "How are we gonna get out here?" I asked. I squeezed my eyes close when the loudest scream of pain from the circus travelled in my ears. My jaw dropped with my eyeballs as one humanoid wolf exited the Circus. He looked around the horses while the people cried even louder. Almost everyone ran despite not knowing where to go but only a never-ending desert. The circus was the only place alive here and Dark Summoner killed it. We cannot get away here without our horses or choppers.

At the rate they were going, it would take an hour before they were done. And he couldn’t be happier. Not that their adventures in the bedroom an hour ago hadn’t been amazing. They definitely were. "So, uh, what is it you do for the circus?" "We have a skin-show for the after-midnight shows." The tall no-fur answered. Elm had scurried up into the wagon and was lighting a few candles. Sweet-smelling smoke began to fill the small space from an infuser. "We could show you," Elm offered, motioning for the last no-fur coming in the wagon to shut the door. "It's quite a popular act."

The Nightmare Master usually has me beat the freaks with it when they make a mistake. I'm not sure they actually made any mistakes, but it's not like I can refuse. There are about six freaks in the circus. I think there used to be more, but well, I'm sure you can figure that out. Each of them performs feats that a regular person could never do, and each performance has to be death-defying but also perfect. More than once, a freak has gotten severely hurt during a performance. Thankfully, one thing they can do is heal fast because if they become useless, the Nightmare Master would be more than happy to discard them.

It featured trained animals performing tricks, a contortionist, and an athletic duo performing thrilling stunts for the average person. I couldn’t stop clapping, amazed at the cooperation between the animals and their trainers, who used simple cues like finger snaps, claps, and firm commands. "Richard would probably enjoy coming here." Watching the performance reminded me of my son and his pet robot. He could find some new inspiration from these shows.
