“Knox, I can barely remember the lines in my jotter. You seriously expect me to read an entire textbook? This thing is like a thousand pages long!”
“Fourteen hundred, actually,” he corrected, still not looking at me and fixing his classes with his middle finger. Mena somehow found it hot.
”Oh great, he counted,” Mena muttered. “Because that makes it so much better.”
I watched as Knox finished whatever he was writing and then pushed the paper across the table toward me. It was covered in neat, precise handwriting, questions numbered one through thirty.
“Answer these,” he said simply.
I picked up the paper and scanned the questions. “What is this?”
