Fearless Human Mate
“Oh great, we survived cannonballs, drowing, and nearly being gutted, just to get mauled to death like a sand-wich. What a poetic end.”
The scarred brown wolf locked eyes with Dottie, his ears flicking in recognition–before suddenly charging straight at her.
Dottie barely had time to react. “Wait, no, I mean–!”
With a burst of speed, the wolf lunged, knocking her backward into the sand. Molly screamed. Serif covered his eyes.
And then–sloppy, wet licking.
Dottie sputtered, struggling beneath the weight of the wolf, who was happily drenching her face in slobber. “Ugh, Illipio! Stop. Get off me, you slobbering mutt!”
