My eyes trailed up and clashed with a pair of striking blue. And the shocking fact is that the pair of striking blue is staring right into my eyes. His lips pulled up into a smirk.

He steps forward, bowing slightly, then extends a hand. I take it, feeling the electricity of our bond, the unspoken promise that this moment is ours. Mary leans close to me, whispering, “Go, Eva.
